Located in Camacha, in a historic building, 10 km from Marina do Funchal, Quinta da Moscadinha is a farm stay with a garden and bar. Everything was excellent: comfy and spacious room (large room on the 1st floor, not the ground floor), good bed and pillows, nice view at the garden, very quite, tasty breakfasts, very nice and friendly staff. The isolation could be better, but as it is an old building, the guests are expected to moderate the noise. So this place is excellent for couples looking for a relaxing vacation. Boasting a patio with city views, a rooftop pool and a garden, A Casa Estrelícia-Dourada Garcês can be found in São Vicente, close to Sao Vicente Beach and 16 km from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming... The apartment was fabulous.We had the large three room accommodation but only used one bedroom . The eye for detail in the design was superb.We loved our three outdoor sitting areas . The owners Leonel and his wife were very very helpful and gave us lots of ideas as to what to do in the area.We hope to return .

A great base for various hiking excursions, too.

Offering an idyllic setting in an Agroturism property, Casas de Pedra is located in Camacha, a Madeiran village located 12 km from Funchal city centre. It offers free WiFi access. The place was as described. The cleanness and comfort of the house was exceptional. The Cases De Pedra located nicely in the mountain surrounded by lush greens. It is private and quite. Loved the location. The hosts are very nice people. They take pride and joy in what they do. You would feel that in everything that place to offer. Loved their two dogs. Both are very beautiful and friendly. We loved playing and spend time with them. We loved staying in the Cases De Pedra so much, we are coming back again in April 2023 to stay here and to explore the beautiful Ireland of Madeira further.

The location was as depicted. Serene and verdant mountain countryside. A quiet and tranquil venue. Very relaxing. Cottages/studios were very comfortable and cozy. Venue was within walking distance from locally owned restaurants, cafes, and small market. Very quaint. Locals were very friendly & receptive. The Sunday farmers' market is a must see and do

Featuring a balcony with quiet street views, a garden and barbecue facilities, Quinta Terezinha can be found in Ribeira Brava, close to Lugar de Baixo Beach and 2.9 km from Ribeira Brava Beach. Quinta Terezinha is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a base to discover the island. The host Laura was so friendly and was really useful in providing information for the shops, restaurants and places to visit. The accommodation itself was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The farmhouse was lovely with comfy beds, a great shower and really clean. We didn't really make the most of the outdoor areas, but there are hammocks, a barbeque and sun loungers all with amazing views. As others have mentioned, you will likely become the owner of a couple of cats for your stay which we loved. On arrival, Laura had prepared a welcome hamper with some local exotic fruits, ground coffee and a bottle of Madeira Wine which was a lovely touch. If you run out or want any more fresh produce from the farm then the instructions are to just help yourself. What an amazing stay - just wish we could have stayed longer.

Moinho do Comandante is located in São Roque, in Madeira. The unit is in a naturally green property, which features a spring of drinkable water. Homes at the Comandante’s come with a seating area. It was a bless to stay with you at this beautiful place you have. It's like in a fairytale. It truly touched our hearts, what a stunning place and amazing people! Thank you Leonor and Carlos for your great hospitality, inspiring stories and lovely company. You will definitely see us again. PS. I would change the name to Magical Moihno do Comandante 😉❤️
