Bühl 3 is a traditional farm house dating from 1899, located on the hills of Affoltern in the Emmental Region. Guests can visit the farm on site, milk the cows with the owner and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains. I was looking for a some accommodation with affordable price, rather difficult task for Switzerland. So the price was the main search criterion, so I booked this place. But apart from more than affordable price, this farm stay is really cool! Beautiful location on the hill in the Emmental, owners are friendly, free parking. You can see some pigs, cows, so you are close to the nature. The room and bathroom were very clean, wifi fast. I find such cool place even better than hotels in the city! Would definitely stay again there!

A private entrance leads guests into the farm stay, where they can enjoy some fruits and chocolates or cookies. The accommodation is non-smoking.

Ski storage space is available on-site and both skiing and cycling can be enjoyed within close proximity of the farm stay. Very nice location, warm and welcoming hosts, great breakfast & cozy lounge setup. If you love outdoors, you can choose in between 401 peaks :) We totally recommend it.

All units come with a terrace with mountain views, a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave and a fridge, and a private bathroom with walk-in shower. Kitchenware and kettle are also available. At the farm stay, each unit has bed linen and towels. Good location for skiing near the piste and able to ski right back at the end of the day. Lovely wooden chalet for two of us, clean and well equipped for post-ski self catering including a fondue maker and raclette maker.

The farm stay offers bed linen, towels and housekeeping service. Beautiful place around. Nice views. Horses at property. Good value for the money.

Absolutely lovely host family with an apartment in a beautiful, historic barn. They were extremely accommodating even when I made a last minute booking. Super friendly dog, too. Definitely recommended if you’re in the area!
