The apartment is located on the grounds of the D'Origem winery in Casal de Loivos. The views from the property are extraordinary. The unit has a large bedroom, living room with a sink and refrigerator, and a bathroom. There is air conditioning in both the living room and the bedroom. The outdoor patio is great for taking in the amazing panorama of the Douro valley. We were also given a tour of the Olive Oil Museum and a tasting of the wines and olive oils produced by D'Origem in their fantastic tasting room.

Fabulous breakfast, and the welcome Porto tonic ever. Too bad I can’t rate it above a 10, it is of the charts. A must stay in the Douro, better than staying in Pinhao.
