Love this property, location is perfect, and staff-owners are exceptional!. Already told friends that will be staying there soon. Overall, the best stay we had during our trip.

WOW!! If you are even thinking about booking Casa do Penedo, just do it. The scenery is amazing, the house is huge with all the comforts of home and a unique collection of art. About 30 minutes drive to the village of Geres. The kayaks were fun on the river but boy the current was tough, and we loved spending lounge time in the pool after a day of sightseeing nearby villages or hiking. We grilled every night and dined al fresco at the large table (even beautiful table clothes provided) and enjoyed our morning coffee on the veranda with the most beautiful mountain and river views. We hardly saw anyone during our stay and it was like we had the entire mountain to ourselves. Can't wait to go back!

The rooms were big and so clean and everything was new. The beds were comfortable. The location was good in terms of access to the main road and nature sights.

Can't recommend enough! It's a small family-run b&b that didn't feel overcrowded with guests, even when it was full. The sisters are incredibly attentive and kind and the food was amazing - cooked every day by the mother, sourced from their farm! We took home several bottles of the house green wine. We stayed in one of the newly built rooms with an amazing view of the pool and trees. Waking up was heavenly, with the sounds of birds and roosters. Wifi in the room was good and can take a call, but if you're on your computer all the time, it might be slightly bothersome. Still, not enough to complain. The saltwater pool is so beautiful and peaceful. It's not heated but warmed up by the sun. Location was a very short drive to the park. The sign to turn into the property is very small and narrow, so keep a close eye! It was perfect to get away to somewhere peaceful.

The view from the apartment is great, and looks better than on the pictures, and one of the best i have ever seen. The host and staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a great and relaxing place, has beautiful garden full of plants, flowers, swimming pool, it has exceeded our expectations in all aspects and we are wishing to return this place!
