Just behind the property you can watch a breath taking sunset with view over the cornfields all the way to the city of Porto in the distance.

We had a wonderful stay at the accommodation. The place is very remote out in nature, away from traffic. We had a hire car, which I would recommend if you want to explore and eat in neighboring villages. There are the Acrouca geosites and hikes nearby- you can find a map in reception, which were amazing and boasted many different terrains. The staff were extremely helpful and would help with recommendations, they even organized and picked up a cake for me for my partner's birthday, which was great! The breakfasts were wonderful and plentiful. We had some problems being vegetarian, but the staff helped as much they could.

Excellent location - the views from the windows are a die for, a walking distance to 516 Arouca Bridge. Delicious breakfast including homemade bread and local ingredients. Welcoming staff and excellent choice of design. We didn’t try a pool as it was pretty chilly outside, but it looked pretty amazing.
