Carnival Palace adalah sebuah hotel baru yang menawarkan kamar-kamar ultra-modern dengan lantai kayu dan Wi-Fi gratis. The facilities were immaculately clean, the staff was extremely helpful, the location was excellent, and the AC was the best we had in all of Italy! And as a bonus point, we are observant Jews and not only was the hotel just 5 minute walk from the Jewish ghetto, they knew everything about staying at a hotel over the sabbath (physical keys, side entrance door that doesn’t open automatically etc.) which made things that much easier. 5 stars!

Set in a former Doge’s 16th-century residence, Hotel Palazzo Abadessa overlooks the Santa Sofia Canal in Cannaregio, It offers a peaceful garden and rooms with Venetian views and antique furnishings. The receptionist let me pick the room I liked best, the one I picked was overlooking a canal bridge, gondolas were passing next to the window, exited directly into the gorgeous dining hall. I wanted to extend my stay and they let me to keep my bags in the room while I was making up my mind, they served me a free espresso when I was leaving. Amazingly nice!

Terletak di jantung distrik Cannaregio Venesia, hotel bintang 4 ini menawarkan desain yang indah dan suasana yang ramah. Kamar luas dilengkapi dengan perlengkapan mewah dan kamar mandi yang luas. It is a beautiful building with delightful & helpful staff. We loved the location, a short walk into the main areas around Rialto and St Marks but quiet and very pretty. Cross the canal to the next one, Fondamenta Ormesini, has lots of bars and restaurants with a much more local clientele and authentic atmosphere, literally 3 minutes walk. It's also close to the Strada Nova, a great shopping street with more bars and restaurants and a great supermarket inside a traditional Venetian theatre. The bar at the hotel is very pretty and elegant, Marco makes the best bellinis, which was always the perfect end to our days exploring this wonderful city.
