The restaurant and breakfast were delicious and well priced. And it was so nice to just relax at the pool for a few hours. The patio section outside for smoking or just enjoying some drinks was comfortable and clean.

Die Lage ist zwar vom Zentrum etwas außerhalb, aber man ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß an dem Bahnhof Trastevere, von dem man sowohl den Flughafen Fiumicino mit dem Zug, als auch alle relevanten Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Innenstadt mit der S-Bahn bequem erreichen kann. Don't be concerned regarding the location of the place on the Rome map thinking that it's far away from the city centre, you can reach the Coliseum by foot in 45 minutes, or in 10 minutes by public transport for 1.5 euro per person (May 2024). I'd say that you're located almost in the city centre. Plenty of places to eat Italian food nearby the Damiva with acceptable prices compared to the City centre. You'll be provided with a breakfast ticket by the host and can have a classical Italian breakfast (pastry of your choice + coffee), though it's located on the other side of the street. In addition you can use the apartment kitchen/fridge/utensils free of charge informing host in advance or in WhatsApp (usually answers withing 30 minutes (usually instantly)). It's a decent place for the money paid.

The view, location and the building itself are just amazing. You have your own balcony with the panoramic view of the city and you could just sit there and enjoy it while drinking your coffee. The neighborhood is very pleasant, there's a supermarket next door and restaurants literally as soon as you get out on the street. It's a 15-20minute walk from the center of Trastevere and a 40minute walk from Pantheon. Public transport stations are nearby and you won't have any problems getting around. The room was clean and cosy, and had everything we needed for our stay. The building itself is modern, which was a plus for us. Owner Emanuela was very kind and helped us with every question we had.
