The decor of the hotel and room are exactly as shown in the pictures. Very well kept as there are no signs of wear and tear. Tons of stairs to get to the reception area, but there is an elevator to use as well. We had breakfast as well( which is not included in our rate) It consisted of sweet crossiants, fruit, yogurt, toast with jams, slices of cakes and cappuccino. Milk, juices and coffee was also offered. Good value. The hotel is located walking distance (5 minutes)to Uffizzi Gallery, Piazza della Signoria, the market area which has loads of shops for eating and shopping. Good variety of restaurants around the hotel.

Set on the historic Via Ghibellina in central Florence, La Casa di Morfeo is a 15-minute walk from Piazza della Signoria square and the Ponte Vecchio bridge. The staff were lovely!! Fantastic service.
