Ville Sull'Arno offers accommodation in Florence, right on the banks of the river Arno. It features a restaurant and a free wellness centre with an indoor pool, sauna, and Turkish bath. Personal welcome us very friendly. Hotel provide us velo and it was amazing to visit Florence . They also prepared little surprise to celebrate our occasion and small travel kit for the road after . FH Grand Hotel Mediterraneo is set on the banks of River Arno, 1 km from Piazza Santa Croce. Rooms offer free WiFi, and there is an à-la-carte restaurant serving Tuscan dishes and special diet menus. Clean, comfortable and well equipped room. Very nice restaurant. And good location - by walk distance to worth to see places in Florence. With some luck you can park opposite of hotel on public parking for 2€/h (working hours) which is fair (hotel charges 20€/day but they ask for car keys which I do not accept ;) ). Good breakfast with variety of dishes.

Hotel Grifone Firenze - Urban Pool & Spa offers rooms in a quiet, residential area of Florence with excellent transport links. we liked everything about this property. we were greeted by Duccio, who was so honest & helpful with all aspects of our stay! the hotel is a 30 minute walk which was amazing, room was exactly as described with a beautiful terrace! Spa was more than we could have imagined, the pool massage completely rejuvenated us after a long day exploring Florence. we were recommended to eat at the JB Jazz Bistrot next to hotel , staff and food was outstanding as well as the live music!

Located in Florence's historic Santa Croce neighbourhood, B&B Hotel Firenze City Center is a 10-minute walk from the Santa Croce Basilica. It offers design rooms with free Wi-Fi and LCD TVs. Very clean, comfortable bed, very good breakfast with good price (€ 9.50/person) and you can pay for it per day of use and it has a lift. If you go by car, there are a lot of parking slots in the street (blue lines) where you pay per hour from 8AM to 8PM, and it doesn’t charge on Sundays. It’s a little bit far from where things happen in Firenze (~1.2 from touristic places), but it has a nice location, it is a safe region and you can do everything by foot. Our room has a view to the piazza Michelangelo and we could hear the party in the end of the days (we were in Florence during the weekend) and see the fireworks from our window.

Hotel Bologna is located in a quiet street, a 5-minute walk from the River Arno. Rooms have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Bologna Hotel’s rooms have simple decoration. A 15 - 20 min walk to central Florence. Its in a nice location and the staff were very friendly.

Set in Florence, 2.4 km from Piazza della Signoria and 2.6 km from Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Fiorino House offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. A highly recommended place to stay in Florence. Not in town centre, so away from traffic and noise. It is situated in a quiet residential area, on a quiet street, so no noise from outside. In any case the accommodation is to the rear of the building on the ground floor. Excellent and frequent bus service minutes from the flat to reach the town centre and/or railway station in around 15/20 minutes. Everything you need is there. Friendly owner, who met us at the flat for keys and introduction, also left some coffee, tea, biscuits, jam and even Nutella for first breakfast. Some other basic groceries too! Endless opportunities for shopping nearby. We didn't have a car....

Located at only 50 meters from the beginning of the Unesco historical center and at the 3rd floor of an early 19th-century building, with a cargo-lift suitable only for luggages. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. They even showed us on map many places to visit and gave us great recommendations for coffee place and restaurants. They also stored our bags the last day of our stay, which was a great help. Room was very clean and quite big, with new furniture with plenty of space to put stuff (even space for shoes and bigger luggage). All toiletries were provided and bathroom was spotless.
