Ideal gelegen in Mumbai, bietet die Unterkunft YWCA International Centre klimatisierte Zimmer mit kostenlosem WLAN und Privatparkplätzen. Die Lage ist fussläufig zum Gateway of India und circa 15 Minuten zu Fuß zum Bahnhof Churchgate, von wo aus man sehr günstig mit der Bahn zum Dhobi Ghat, Dharavi und Flughafen fahren kann. Das Essen war immer lecker, morgens kann man sich Eier nach Wunsch zubereiten lassen (Rührei, Omelette etc.). Es war einigermaßen ruhig und die Zimmer bieten viel Platz, wir hatten sogar einen Balkon. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel near the Gateway of India. The hotel faces the harbor and you can get great view from the rooftop restaurant, where breakfast is also served. (Psst ask for the masala omelette) Staff went out of their way to ensure my comfort.

We again chose the Suba Palace for our recent visit to Mumbai. It’s a few steps away from the Gateway of India, and the hotel is very comfortable and quiet, and completely avoids street noise. The room was well laid out, very comfortable, and perfect for the two of us. The shower was superb with lots of hot water. The staff were super friendly and helpful. At the last minute we decided to book a day room, and they worked hard to make this possible. Check-in and check-out were flawless. They upgraded us to a deluxe room as a welcome-back gift! While many Indian hotels offer free breakfast, the quality and flavors of the breakfast at Suba Palace are exceptional - it was over-the-top and delicious. We would give them an “11” if we could and will certainly stay again on our next trip to Mumbai.
