Hotel di Salthill, Galway

Ideally located amongst spacious private grounds, this luxury 4-star hotel boasts a superb location in the leafy suburb of Taylors Hill, 1km from Galway city centre. An historic hotel, but well kept with spacious room and bath, wonderful recreation facilities, excellent food and drink, lovely gardens, and friendly staff.

The hotel is ideally located between the buzz of Galway city and the relaxed seaside resort of Salthill. No breakfast included. Very clean. Staff sent me chocolates and birthday card because it was my birthday. Location is great for Galway Bay restaurants and shops. A bit too far away from Galway City if that is your destination, although parking in Galway City is impossible.

Overlooking the famous Salthill Promenade, Galway Bay and the Clare Hills, this elegant hotel features a 25-metre swimming pool, a whirlpool, and a large gym. very clean and comfortable. Staff helpful and friendly. Gym was great with lots of equipment and space.

The friendly, warm and affordable Wards Hotel and Pub is located in the Lower Salthill area of Galway City. A 10-minute stroll will bring you to the city centre. They were extremely kind and helpful. We had a quiet, comfortable stay and the food was delicious. We will definitely stay again next visit.

Set in a period house, right opposite the bus stop to Galway city centre and 400 metres from the beach, St Judes B&B sits in a landscaped garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was beautiful and the owners friendly. Three rooms were perfect. They give a choice of breakfast times and menus. The homes is in walking distance to many restaurants and the owners gave us some great suggestions.

The Stop is 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Galway and half a mile from the coast. This 1930s property offers stylish rooms and a contemporary feel throughout, complemented by modern art work. well located, central to walking everywhere! we went to the farmers market, great pubs, live music, and Connemara drive. friendly hosts, lovely stay
