Renovated in 2015, Royal Neptun Hotel Dubrovnik is a peaceful beach-front property on the Lapad Peninsula. Surrounded by fragrant pine trees, it features magnificent panoramic sea views. I got an upgrade to Ariston hotel because I was there for the second time. Everything was excellent, you could use all of the hotels' facilities, people were friendly, balcony was great for relaxing in the morning, everything was clean, breakfast room an terrace were huge and there's a bus stop behind the hotel that gets you to the old town.

Located right next to the beach, Dubrovnik President Valamar Collection Hotel offers an unique beachfront location and stunning views of the Elaphiti Islands stretching from all room terraces and... Perfect place for us to end our last week of holiday as we had a busy first week of tours, sightseeing and water activities. Couldn't' find a place more private with the kind of amenities that I've been looking for. From spa to the spacious gym, indoor and outdoor pools with plenty of beach bed, and the beachfront with an easy access to a company that provides water sports activities and equipment. Breakfast is topnotch. Even the dinner buffet which we tried for our last 2 nights have plenty of options for everyone, it is ample and impeccable. And most importantly, the staffs at the restaurant, lounge, pool, reception and spa are kind and friendly (like Marko, Yvona, David, and so on) who assures your every need/requests being attended. Our big room situated on the 6th floor with a seaview, plants, flowers, shrubs and olive trees next to at least 11sqm size balcony is totally calm except that we encountered guests in our private balcony whose staying at the next room playing loud music and talking out loud like they are the only guests around. It is beyond the control of the hotel of course but its just to mention the little cons that you might encounter one day (or maybe not at all) when you plan to enjoy your peace and quiet in the balcony. We will definitely stay in this hotel again and we can't wait! :)
