Situated in Guatemala, 1.9 km from Popol Vuh Museum, Hyatt Centric Guatemala City features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a shared lounge. The rooms are new and big, the hotel’s facilities are good and well maintained. The restaurant is fine and the breakfast is great. The location is perfect as Zone 10 seems quite safe and there is a very good shopping center just next to the hotel (accessible by the main entrance) and with a lot of different good restaurants options. If you need to move around Guatemala City or you need to arrange business trips you can arrange everything through the front desk (highly recommended).

The hotel was located conveniently in the hotel zone (Zona 10), where you can find many eating places (particularly recommend El Remo Cevichería) and I liked that it felt like an oasis, as it was a cozy little boutique hotel rather than a big hotel. - An Uber ride from the airport to the property is pretty cheap (around 30-40 GTQ) - the staff is really friendly, they also helped me arranging onwards transport to Panajachel on Lake Atitlán (USD 35 on a shared door-to-door minibus) - the room was generous, super clean and had all the amenities one would expect. Shower water pressure was excellent! - the included breakfast was offered in the rooftop restaurant / on the terrace and was really delicious. - the hotel is ideally located to visit Popol Vuh museum dedicated at Maya history and Ixchel Museum for indigenous clothes
