Location was great on the bus route to where we wanted to go and the breakfast was grand for starting us off the day. The owner was there and very friendly and welcoming and his staff. Perfect!

On the banks of the River Irwell, the award-winning Lowry has rooms with views, a riverside restaurant and a spa. Free WiFi is also available. Everything was perfect honestly, tried booking for December already to come for the holiday with kids.. but sadly the hotel was fully booked on the website. Staff were cautious, House keeping was prompt.

The Hello Hotel is 8 km from Manchester city centre, with 2 nearby train stations and free parking. Each room comes with free Wi-Fi and an en suite bathroom with a heated towel rail. Reasonably priced and a great location. The room was perfect for a short stay. We stayed 2 nights and were made very welcome. The restaurant next door was handy and even though the breakfast was limited it was ok.

I have no idea why the rating is so low but it was a great stay and I even had a heater working🤣 You can get here by bus at 2 pounds - the stop is outside, it is a quiet and safe neighbourhood there is Lidl on the way to get some food. Check in is remote - you get your room number and a code for the keys - the locker can be tricky - push harder to open. Towels and linen were included in the rate, soap and shampoo. They even provide a small tea pot, that was very lovely along with coffee. The rooms and property are a bit outdated and it’s not that fancy of a place but among all the variants in Manchester this was the best. You can also use a kitchen to heat smth.
