The hotel is located in a ship with a varied history - used during wartimes, but also for trade, then for a playboy‘s party life, it had been left unused for many years before the current owners restored it. Hotel rooms are designed as cabins with en-suite bathrooms, breakfast and drinks are served in the upper deck. We loved the design of the rooms and common areas - high quality and nicely classic without any kitsch. Service was impeccable, and while breakfast was rather simple, the bar served very creative cocktails. Certainly a very unique experience!

This modern hotel is next to the Ocean Terminal shopping centre and the Royal Yacht Britannia. It has paid onsite parking, air-conditioned rooms and regular buses to the city centre stop outside. The staff was incredibly friendly and they went out of their way to help us in everything they could. Way to go!!

Park View Hotel is situated only 2 km from Edinburgh and easily accessible by frequent buses. This Victorian town house overlooks the famous Leith Links park. Ubytovanie v tichej štvrti asi pol hodinu od centra,ľahko dostupné autobusom. Výhľad na rozľahlý zelený park pôsobí upokojujúco, ulica je v noci tichá, v blízkosti potraviny ak reštaurácie a bary. Izba bola čistá, dostačujúca pre 4 dospelých, postele pohodlné, so všetkým sme boli spokojní. Odporúčam.

They let me keep my bag in the luggage room in the morning, even though the check in time was at 3pm. There was no receptionist and you get all the information on time, so absolutely no hassle. Everything was perfect as it should be.

The location was fantastic. Two minutes from the shore and around 10 minutes to the castle and other attractions. We used an Uber to get to the main city center instead of driving because of construction works everywhere in the city. the bedrooms are god size with two bathrooms. the kitchen had everything we needed. There is a Tesco express right underneath which was useful. Secure car parking too which was wonderful to have. Plus truly wonderful hosts who are beyond hospitable and welcoming.
