The hotel is located in a ship with a varied history - used during wartimes, but also for trade, then for a playboy‘s party life, it had been left unused for many years before the current owners restored it. Hotel rooms are designed as cabins with en-suite bathrooms, breakfast and drinks are served in the upper deck. We loved the design of the rooms and common areas - high quality and nicely classic without any kitsch. Service was impeccable, and while breakfast was rather simple, the bar served very creative cocktails. Certainly a very unique experience!

They let me keep my bag in the luggage room in the morning, even though the check in time was at 3pm. There was no receptionist and you get all the information on time, so absolutely no hassle. It was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. It had everything that we needed. It is situated near restaurants (like Rishi's next door, which was lovely) and the tram. We had an easy time getting to and from the airport and the city centre. Staying on this side of town also let us more easily explore this area and its surrounds which was well worth it. I would stay here again and would recommend it.

The apartment was so nice and a great location..we could walk all over Leith at our leisure..felt safe everywhere we went. We highly recommend a stay at this apartment!
