The indoor pool was fantastic for my young daughter. Being a residents building for older people, it was very quiet. Easy for self catering from the nearby supermarket or Wazemmes market, and just a few minutes walk from the Metro to get into Lille old town quickly. The staff were very sweet and tried to help us whenever needed, despite our poor French.

The room and service exactly met our expectations, but we were surprised by the price even including the breakfast. The GF of the hostel is also a community center, there are activities every night, and people sing and dance together, we appreciate the active and international atmosphere over there. It's a great idea to encourage carbon-efficient trips in this way. I would love to visit it again.
