This family-run hotel provides a touch of elegance in a tranquil and attractive suburb of Düsseldorf, within easy reach of the city centre. It was like stepping back in time a bit with this hotel. I loved it. I loved how CLEAN the hotel and room were. The decor was interesting and it's fun to stay in a hotel that isn't the standard boring modern design. I was initially worried that my room would be noisy on the first (European floor) facing the main road. With the windows shut, I could barely hear a thing. I also loved the location because it was a 15 minute walk to the center on the Rhein River and the tram station is right across from the hotel along with the commuter train line taking you directly to the airport in minutes. The location is deceptively amazing because looking at a map may lead one to believe they're not near the action, but you are. It has been a long time since I have had such a positive reaction to a hotel stay.

The hotel is nice and well located but if at leat in our experience the best thing of the hotel is the stuff. Very helpful and caring. They went ahead of our requests and solved them all. Hay add a human touch to the place which let's you be more relaxed.

It's also very easy to get to the Düsseldorf trade fair centre. The flat itself is spacious and very nicely furnished. Everything was spotlessly clean, the beds are comfortable and we felt right at home. There is a very good Greek restaurant right next door, which is also highly recommended. The contact with the landlord is very friendly, uncomplicated and quick.
