The family run business made me feel like family,. They went way out of their way to take care of me (do you have an HDMI cable I can borrow? yes! I must leave before breakfast... No problem, we'll pack a breakfast the night before! etc, etc). The room was perfect. Restaurant was great. Very close to the Metro to easily get downtown.

It is really worth it And the best of the hotel is "Josefina". She is an outstanding and hospitable receiprionist. No matter the time you would report an issue that you confront, she is always there to help and take an immediate action to tackle it. She is priceless and so valuable asset to the Staff of hotel Carol.

Everything was clean and came with other nice things, like iron and ironing board, sewing kit, etc. Was nice since one of my hoodies needed stitching. The room was sufficiently big; the shower had hot water; everything was great.
