The location was great, just next to the train station. Having a lake-view room will make your trip unforgettable. The room was quiet and the staff were very kind. Located near the center and shopping street and adjacent to the lake.

It was way more comfortable and enjoyable. I loved that the place was quiet and relaxing while being close to the train station making it easy upon arrival and check out. However, it was a bit hard to find since it is kind of tucked behind the coffee shop.

Located in Muralto, Miralago Locarno Easy Rooms is just 50 metres from the promenade on Lake Maggiore, 500 metres from Locarno's centre and 200 metres from the harbour. It offers free Wi-Fi. Wonderful place, extremely friendly staff and perfect location- near to the train station, near to the lake. Just wonderful!!!

Piccolo Hotel enjoys a quiet location, an 8-minute walk from the Locarno Train Station and the centre of the city. The room was lovely and the breakfast provided was superb. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

מלון גראניו או לאק (Hotel Geranio Au Lac) ממוקם בטיילת על שפת אגם מאג'ורה (Maggiore), במרחק 100 מ' בלבד מתחנת הרכבת לוקרנו (Locarno) וממרכז העיר, ומציע מזנון ארוחת בוקר. The hotel is awesome! The staff are really what made us love the place, and want to come back, but the rooms are super comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our patio was so great, and the location in the lake can’t be beat.

Friendliness of staff. The communication was great. The accommodations are noteworthy and comfortable.

מלון לה פלמה או לאק (Hotel la Palma au Lac) נמצא על טיילת האגם היפהפיה לוקרנו (Locarno), במרחק של מספר צעדים ממרכז העיר. יש בכל החדרים טלוויזיה, כספת וחדר רחצה פרטי. The hotel was an easy walk from the station- when you walk down the short hill to the lake side it’s worth crossing the road and walking along the lake. The gardens are gorgeous. The staff on reception, Gian and a lovely young woman whose name I didn’t get, were superb - welcoming & knowledgeable about Locarno. I was early, and Gian phoned me when my room was ready. The views were superb - it’s worth paying for a lakeside balcony room, although a tad exie. The breakfast was generous with a wide selection, even for vegetarians - a bonus was the outdoor terrace. The steam room and sauna were very well appointed. The jacuzzis had a wonderful aspect with views over the lake, although I found them overly chlorinated - certainly not a negative, but personal preference. It was a short walk to the ferries. Make sure you ask for the Ticino visitors pass - free buses & trains within the Canton & some limited ferry services and good discounts on the the funicular to the Madonna del Sasso sanctuary (you can walk up and/or down - many steep stairs - I walked down) and the adjoining cable car/chair lift to Alpe Cardada/Cimetta, both of which I recommend. Fabulous view to Monte Rosa and some good hiking. Lake swimming is accessible almost right in front of the hotel - the water clarity is wonderful and many species of water birds. The old town around the Piazza Grande was a treat as well, although it was very hot and they were setting up for a music festival.
