It is one of the most enjoyable hotels we have stayed in during our travels so far. Everything is very carefully thought out. The location is great! The restaurant downstairs is equally enjoyable at night and at breakfast. If we come to Basel again, this will definitely be the only place we will stay.

Hotel staff were all super friendly. Excellent service. We dropped out bags as we got to Basel earlier than check in time, by the time we returned, they had already put our luggage in our rooms.

El Teufelhof Basel està situat al nucli antic de la localitat, a pocs minuts a peu o amb transport públic dels principals llocs d'interès i museus. És molt acollidor i està ben ubicat. L’hotel té racons bonics i el pati és un luxe. L’habitació era enorme i molt maca.

Occupying a medieval building next to the historic Spalen Gate, this 3-star hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Basel’s Old Town. Wi-Fi is free of charge. Owner was very accomodating and allowed us an extra hour of check out time due to needing the internet. Also, owner went out of his way to get online and secure for us the Basel Card which offered us free bus and discount musuem.

AVLiving City Loft Basel is located in the centre of Basel, 200 metres from Kunstmuseum Basel and 400 metres from the Architectural Museum. Free WiFi is offered. The location--a short walk to grocery stores, tram stops, the Rhine, and the famous Basler Art Museum--is wonderful. A city tax, payable upon check-in, rewards guests with an unlimited tram/bus ticket for free travel on the entire Basel public transportation network. The apartment, accessible by elevator, was quiet and spacious, including a balcony with seating, a large bedroom with generous storage space, and a larger sitting room and full-equipped kitchen area. Re-charging outlets for electronic devices next to the nightstands were convenient. The shower/bathtub and sink are in one room, a toilet and tiny sink in another. We especially liked the superior body and shampoo liquid soaps. All the fixtures are very modern. There is a washer and dryer in a hallway room nearby.

Set very close to banks of the River Rhine, this designer hostel is next to the old city gate of St. Alban. One of the best hostels I've stayed in in a long time. Very clean rooms, bathrooms. I really loved it! Bathrooms and toilets are seperate and they both are in the coridor.
