Our very pleasant host, Tamara who lives onsite was always available to give restaurant suggestions etc and to help with a couple of minor issues we had with printing boarding passes etc. We would thoroughly recommend a stay in her tasteful and well furnished apartment.

Ghent by the water is a beautiful, relaxing place to stay for a Holiday. The apartment is super clean and has everything you need for a stay with kids and/or family. Clean, amenities seemed quite new, enough space for a family of four. It was a little too chilly to use the outdoor space when we were there, but I imagine it's great in the summer! It was nice to go to a little nature after busy days of touristing.

We liked the spacious room, the host Fred, was very friendly, the room was very clean, with nice and spacious bathroom, nice view to the river, you can walk to the center in 15 minutiae, the bus ride could get you on the corner of the street of this site. I definitely recommend it. Also, we liked the very nice library and there are a small store if you would like to buy any beer, water, soda, bread, etc. very convenient.
