Most magical place located in a vineyard in a small village North of Porto. We stayed for one night and loved it so much that we simply shopped for tapas in the supermarket near by to enjoy the property even more instead of going to a restaurant for dinner. Perfect for a couple's getaway, or a small group of friends that wants to relax and reconnect like us.
This hotel is 200 metres from Ponte de Nossa Senhora Da Guia and Lima River. It features a small spa area with massage services and a lush garden. Each room has a private balcony.

Ponte de Lima is a perfect place for a pilgrim on the Camino to take a rest day. Perfect place to get your laundry done properly, catch up with your sleep. Lots of nice restaurants to eat in. Many interesting alleys to walk through and enough sights to take in a day.

Ponte de Lima is a remarkably well-preserved, historically important village in Northern Portugal. It has been a crossroads for centuries. Probably for a Druids-like culture, definitely for the Romans, for hundreds of thousands of pilgrims walking the historic Camino (Caminho in Portuguese), as well as for people traveling east-to-west from the mountains to the Atlantic.
Today, Ponte de Lima continues to be an important crossroads as well as gathering space for walking & hiking, cyclists, various forms of boating (with a champion training center along the Rio Lima), horse riding, international gardening and more.
It's hard to fully explain how much cultural importance there is in Ponte de Lima for the Minho (region), Portugal (as a country), and, indeed, all of Europe in such a small village. Well worth visiting.
I spent three weeks there, fell in love with the village, and like it so much that I intend to move there.

The village is beautiful as well as the bridge, which we walked from end to end. There were several good restaurants to choose from. Everything is within walking distance. There are great sculptures spread throughout town. We would come again.

My wife and I have been visiting Ponte de Lima for 30 years.
My wife and I have been visiting Ponte de Lima for 30 years. It has changed and become much busier over the years. However, it has managed to retain its friendly low key ambience. It is still possible to recognise the town of years ago despite the changes. A truly lovely place.

Picturesque, regional town, with old architecture and great walks within the town and its hinterland. The town opens onto a broad riverfront with great views including of a historic multi-arched bridge which gives the town its name.

Ponte de Lima is a historic town, with a medieval and a Roman bridge across the Lima. Fascinating. We stayed there overnight as part of a Minho cycling trip (self-arranged).
Had a lovely supper at the Restaurante Encanada.
We really enjoyed our stay at Guest House. Diana was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was great and we had a very quiet room (3rd floor, at the back of the hotel). Everything was extremely clean and nice. Rooms and fixtures are modern. Nice common area on each floor. The location was excellent - right in Ponte de Lima and few steps down to the river and Ecovia and many restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here. We would not hesitate to stay here again next time we visit Ponte de Lima.
the moment we arrived to the hotel we were immediately welcomed by a warm and comforting staff that made sure that made us feel part of the family. Francisco (The owner) himself gave us a private tour sharing his family legacy and fascinating history of great wineries. The hotel had a very authentic, warm and yet top notch design.
The whole property was sitting on a beautiful urban garden surrounded with vineyards equipped with a warmed swimming pool, bar, and a top dining room.
Everything! The staff are amazing-very attentive to ensuring a comfortable, serene, and enjoyable stay. We were lucky enough to spend 5 nights at Hotel Paco de Vitorino. The grounds are beautiful and include a large pool. The bed was 10 out of 10 for comfort. . It felt like we were on a retreat, yet close enough to drive to Ponte de Lima, Ponte de Barca, Guimaraes, Braga & explore the Minho region. It was an unforgettable experience!!! Thank you!! Will & Lisa
this house was huge. Good value for a family. Many comfortable seating areas, well stocked kitchen, lovely outdoor terrace. The staff was very accommodating, allowing luggage transfer service to make arrangements to drop off and pick up luggage though they are not a hotel with a reception. Nearby were shops, a good taverna, a bakery. Very nice stay for our family of 4.
The entire property was spotlessly clean. Diana was exceptionally energetic, personable, and helpful. The breakfast was fabulous with scrambled eggs offered and prepared by Diana. She was also very informative about Portugal and proud of her establishment and heritage. Finally, she helped in securing a bus ticket. Very comfortable stay.
Located just on the other side of the bridge. We had an amazing view from our room looking back over the bridge and river and into Ponte de Lima. WiFi was strong. Breakfast was very good with many options. They also had a little bar set up to order drinks, wine or beer. That was a nice, convenient touch.
Amazing stay, the host couple really make you feel at home!
The house, room, bathroom, and garden are impeccably clean and well maintained.
The location is the best neighborhood in Ponte de Lima, and easy walk into town.
We enjoyed the breakfast and even ate delicious home grown tomatoes from the garden.
The location is about 8km outside of Ponte de Lima, which took us off the Camino route but the facilities were very good, with very welcome air conditioning after walking from Barcelos in 30 degrees plus temperature. There is also a swimming pool. The receptionist was friendly and helpful.
We were 2 pilgrims doing the Caminho & the hotel was on The Way and on the quiet end of town. . Spacious room with a large bathroom & terrace with a table. The spa offered a Pilgrim’s massage & Anna the masseuse was wonderful! The included breakfast was perfect with many choices.
This hotel was a wonderful surprise. Exceptional value - it is not luxurious but it was great. The room was good and the staff were super accommodating. And the village is also another surprise with good restaurants and great to explore. More people should go to Ponte de Lima.
Big and comfortable hotel located at the entry of Ponte de Lima. You will need to walk a little bit to get to the city centre but it is a very pleasant walk following the river. Room was very big and it has a lovely outdoor terrace. Breakfast was also very good!
The location is lovely, a short drive to Ponte de Lima for shopping, meals out etc, the garden is fabulous, lots of space, listening to the river that flows along side the garden is very relaxing, the pool is amazing, a truly stunning location.
Beautiful property oozing with character and charm. Room was very comfortable with lovely Juliette balcony. Such a lovely family run hotel. It used to be a grocery store run by the parents of the current owner. I loved it!
Everything about this hotel is beautiful. The rooms, location, history. The staff are just as beautiful too. Very friensly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely be staying there again.
Central location in Ponte de Lima near bars and restaurants. Clean, functional room which a shared lounge. Check in is carried out remotely and you are given a key code to enter the building.
Perfect base for us whilst we were searching for our new home in the area. Such a beautiful place. The hotel was spotless and the staff were fantastic. Would not hesitate to recommend 👌
