The room was comfortable and just as pictured. So close to the shrine which is what we wanted. You can hear the bells and singing from our room which we didn’t mind. We checked in at midnight but there was a lady called Maria who came within 5 minutes of calling to help us with check in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will stay here again 😊

Fatima is an experience of a lifetime. I had a great stay both in my hotels. The spiritual journey that the place brings is different and worth it and all the expenses of travelling.
It is a beautiful religious destination.

If you go to Fátima you possibly go for the religious reason. You also know what to expect and where to go. Regarding eating out - there are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from and the service is quick. Possibly more shops with religious items than any other shops altogether. People are friendly and helpful but not many of them speak English. We came from Porto to Fátima by Uber and it cost us 160 Euros while taxi drivers hunting for us just outside of the airport arrivals offered 250-300 Euros.

The Circuito Circuit was unreliable they said it comes every 30 mins for pick up. We waited 1 hr and 15mins to come but when it did there was no seat available so we walked for 35 mins to go back to top . It would have been nice if all the info on the sites/exhibits was also in English. Sites also lacks directions. You loose time finding your way around the exhibits.

The sanctuary is an amazing experience, especially the candlelight procession Our Lady of Fatima. What was difficult with a wheelchair was getting into the Basilica of the Holy Trinity. Both wheelchair lifts going into the Basilisk were not working so ypu had to pusg a distance and uphill to get into it. Tia Alice restaurant is a must do, just know it’s a very small venue and must have reservations.

I enjoyed walking the 14 stations, it was a beautiful day, very quiet, the walkway pleasantly shaded by trees. Then I visited the Nossa Sehnora da Rosario church, which is very beautiful, has free parking, drinking water, very clean washrooms. Many people were there visiting in the church, on the big plaza, some attended the mass, every few hours is one in different languages, the new church is very modern and spacious, has different rooms in the basement to pray, or you can get even one to one meeting with somebody who listens to your problems and prays with you. Close by is a wax museum, which tells the story of the 3 Shepard children, I thought it was nicely done. If you plan a trip to Portugal is worth including Fatima, even if you are not a religious person, is a lovely place to meditate, and see how people from everywhere, with different religious backgrounds, or atheist can be together in complete peace and respect for each other. What this world should be everywhere….

I was completely captivated by Fatima.
I was completely captivated by Fatima. I though it would only be the shrine, but the village really took me aback.
The village is very well-preserved and nice. Everything is at a nice walking-distance, and there are plenty of things to do. The Via Sacra and monuments leading to the shepherds village is breathtaking. The shepherds village remains as if it had not changed in a whole century, which allows you to get a better a idea of how they lived.
Regarding the main touristic point, the shrine, it was awesome. Huge monumental area, with plenty of opportunities for those seeking for a Mass or the prayer of the Rosary. The capelinha was nice, and the nocturnal Rosary with the Virgin of Fatima, along with all the candles, was awesome.
We planned to stay only one night, but I liked it so much that we booked another night.
Also, the museum in the sanctuary is fantastic, and it only costs 2 euros. Large amounts of worthless pieces of jewelery, including the coronation crown of the Virgin of Fatima with the bullet of Saint John Paul II.
We had a wonderful time staying here. The hotel seems to be newly upgraded and is very clean. The staff was incredible, our check in was easy, and breakfast was a delicious spread every morning. Free and safe parking is a big plus, and the location is fairly central to the basilica as well as the Caminho dos Pastorinhos. Great value as well- would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Fatima.
All workers are very friendly. They always try their best to grant client's wishes and needs. In my whole stay in this Hotel, I feel like I'm at home. I would highly recommend this Hotel to my family, relatives, friends and colleagues. Moreover, this Hotel is very clean and the breakfast Buffet have a lot of variety to choose. Browser
We had our room upgraded to another hotel close by, so this review is actually to Lux Fatima Park. The room was excellent and very confortable. More than I expected from what I have booked. We couldn't use the perks of this 4 stars upgraded hotel though because of lack of time.
Breakfast was adequate for the price. The price paid was of great value considering the comfort and cleanliness of the property, I especially liked the chapel for prayers and mass. It was located near enough to the Fatima Shrine. I came mainly as a pilgrim.
It was very close to the Shrine, about 7 mins walk. Aldi nearby, 3 mins walk, local Market on Sat around 10 mins walk . The hotel staff was very friendly with no exceptions ( a big thank you to the receptionist Maria) :)). Nothing was ever a problem.
Location is good, it's close to the centre of Fatima.
Breakfast is also good, there are varity of food, it's a chance to try different kind of portgual dishes.
The room is big and comfortable, this is the best value hotel for our Portgual trip.
great location - close to the Sanctuary but quiet and convenient to restaurants and shops. breakfast was good with a nice selection of items. you get good value for the rate they charged. I highly recommend Hotel Santa Maria.
It was my second time i stay in the hotel Would like to come back every time when i come to fatima i love the place was so comfortable and location very good near to all places thank you for the staff was so friendly 🙂
The hotel was very comfortable, definitely one of the best hotels we stayed in Fatima so far. The breakfast was really good and I really liked the room deco, very well organised! Would definitely come back again.
The owner (Felipe) is exceptional. He made sure that he explained to us everything and he took care of us. Definitely will recommend this place. The hotel is really close the the Fatima apparition chapel
Staff were so nice and helpful. The bed was so comfortable we did not want to get out of it. Bath was huge, balcony nice and comfy. Parking space. Hotel is located right next to Fatima sanctuary.
The Sanctuary of Fatima was a 12 minute walk from the hotel. We were able to organise an extended check-out time for no charge. The receptionists on duty were courteous and helpful.
Spotless clean hotel. Room is very spacious. Very comfortable bed. Biggest hotel bathroom maybe in whole Portugal. Location right at the center and close to Fatima shrine.
Very helpful staff especially the Guy in reception when our check in time easy access to Fatima Sanctuary & all shop around hotel restaurant dinner food yummy & affordable
