The location was very good. Other reviews have mentioned a petrol station nearby but this was not an issue. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room (top floor) technically did have a view of the tower, but it’s a bit of a stretch to include this in the description.

Book restaurants in advance and any of the sites you want to enter. Very crowded between 11.00-18.00 around the major sites but much nicer outside these times. Can recommend Bruno's Bar for a drink or 2 and L'Ostelliono for value sandwiches that are a true delight.
5 euro to walk the top of the city walls is well worth it and so is the botanical gardens to avoid the big crowds. its fairly easy to navigate the old town but don't even think about driving unless you have 2 wheels or a guaranteed parking spot. Don't pay 8 euro for a bottle of beer in view of the tower instead just walk a few meters away and save 50%.

Pisa is a lovely city I have been lucky to visit a few times. The Leaning Tower is worth seeing, but I would suggest going in late evening or out of the tourist season. But there are other places worth checking out - this time we discovered the Nave Antica Museum - only opened in 2019 just before Covid, which houses many Roman boats from BC, which were found after flooding in 1998 - in an old horse stables - lots of gems - lovely restaurants and because it is a student town, there is always a buzz - we've been there in all seasons of the year and it is well worth visiting any time of year, although July and August are very very hot.

Pisa sights are mostly gathered in one place.
Pisa sights are mostly gathered in one place. It can be busy with a lot of tourists but it is not so busy as Florence for example. It is very simple to walk in the city from one place to another. And there are plenty things to do except the Tower.

Excellent transport system - used train for 2 day trips.
Excellent transport system - used train for 2 day trips. Airport only 1.6km walk from train station. Easy to walk around Pisa. Enjoyed Leaning Tower of Pisa & Cathedral - recommend you book before your visit as tickets for tower may not be available on the day and you are allocated a specific time to access the tower. All bags must be stored in a locker, free of charge, when going up the tower. Charge of €1 to use the toilets. Pisa is a lovely place to stroll around in the evening.

The Leaning Tower was beautiful and as breathtaking as I had anticipated. I was surprised to discover that the Duomo also has a slight lean! I would have liked to walk around the medieval city on the wall, but it is closed to tourists. One afternoon was enough to see the tower, church, and Duomo. There are 20 restaurants on the street from the Leaning Tower, all equally excellent and all with nearly jdentical menus.
This is an excellent little hotel -- Great value- very comfortable and clean. It is within 15 minutes easy walk from the airport terminal, but it isn't a noisy hotel at all. We have travelled via Pisa on a few occasions, but this is the best B&B we've used in the area. We will certainly use it again on our next trip. Breakfast was nice and fresh, in a really interesting dining area. There are decent restaurants for an evening meal within a couple of hundred metres if you follow the road to the left as you leave the gate.
Loved the authentic character of Villa Gini, had that old style vibe that you often get in Italy. The owner Roberto is the perfect host, attentive, helpful, knowledgeable and honest when giving advice and recommendations. Breakfast is definitely a highlight, delicious selection of regional produce plus homegrown tomatoes from the garden. Location is great, perfectly placed between the airport, train station and city centre. Local neighbourhood feels fine with a couple of nice restaurants, cafes and shops.
Rooms were extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. Bed was really good. Pillows were soft. Bathroom was really big, which I did not expect. Breakfast was very nice, superb. Lemon cake was exceptional. Ample parking space. The bus stop was right outside the hotel, which made our trip to see the Leaning Tower very smooth. On our way back, we walked for around 40 min and we were at the hotel. There is also a good café right behind the hotel. All in all, an excellent option to stay in Pisa.
The location was excellent - right across from the train station, and a block away from the bus stop that took us straight to the tower of Pisa. Our host responded immediately to our text and was outside the hotel ready to greet us when we arrived and show us to our rooms. There was no lift and we had heavy suitcases which he effortlessly carried for us up all the stairs! The rooms were large, comfortable and clean. Some street noise early in the evening but quiet during the night.
During our stay at Hotel Verdi, we were always greeted at reception by the most loveliest people. We would like to give a special mention to Veronica, who is a new worker at the Hotel, and was extremely helpful and kind, she must be a pleasure to work with! This hotel is a great option when on a budget, you have everything you need, the rooms are clean, there is Wi-Fi, a safe, a hairdryer and most importantly it is in the city centre and close to the tower of Pisa.
Staff are very helpful and friendly. All the concierge staff spoke English.
The rooms were made up everyday immaculately.
The Hotel is city centre walking distance to the tower etc.
The railway station is very close 10 min walk from the hotel and the trains, unlike in England run on time!
After doing Pisa, Lucca, Florence, and Livorno are only a short distance away.
There's a fantastic Nature Reserve close by but when I visited the visitor centre was closed.
Beautiful room, incredible bathroom. There is a backyard, a smalll room with cookies and coffee machine. Few blocks from Pisa train station, supermarket at one block, and diverse restaurants near the place. Two blocks for main commercial street.
Maybe the best boutique hotel we have known. Not only every detail in the beautiful room, but also very kind and professional people in charge of the facility.
The best hotel! New and modern facilities. Directly outside of Pisa Centrale train station, walking distance to Pisa Tower. Bus Lam Rossa to Pisa tower too. The room has safe and kettle, which are important. Very comfortable beds. Great for the value. This is also a good suggested stay if want to go to Florence or cinque terre. 1 hour train to both.
It’s definitely the best property we have stayed in Italy! It’s very high level, wonderfully designed, with good-quality materials, very new, spotless and comfortable. The location is absolutely amazing, right in the centre by all attraction and the leaning tower just 10 min away. And the breakfast is probably in the best cafe in town!
Very close to airport and the was ok to stay one night. It was clean enough and warm especially during winter time 2022 regarding to cost reduction most of the hotels, B&Bs in Italy do not open the heaters after 9 pm but this room was quite warm. on the other hand by 20 mins walking you can reach the popular shopping streets or POIs.
I really Like the staff was helpful and had nice hospitality.. had more facilities like kitchen well equiped.. nice bathroom for shower.. nice balcony for tea..breakfast... and rate was reasonable per night not like other hotels..or hostels so expensive...and was near airport and near pisa centrale.
Rooms were spacious and beautiful, breakfast was delicious (loved their croissants for ex, when usually Italy doesn't have great croissants). The hosts were very attentive to all our needs and went above and beyond. The location is in the heart of a very nice part of Pisa
The hotel is located right next to the Leaning Tower of Pisa which was so ideal! The man at the front desk was so lovely and helped us with directions to the city centre at midnight when we checked in.
The hotel has a good location and is about 15 mins walking distance from the train station. The city center, Pisa tower, supermarkets are also nearby. The room was spacious and facilities were good.
Location was awesome very close to all the attractions Pisa tower is 10mins walk from hotel bus stop is just 10 steps from hotel overall it was good experience I recommend to stay awesome stay
The hotel is in a central location. If you're travelling by train its just opposite and just around 20 mins walk to pisa. Even the airport is just a 20 mins walk. Excellent location
Excellent location for Pisa city centre and the sights, the hotel has its own parking though very tight, would not advise a car over the size of a Fiat 500X. 24 Hr check in
