The hotel was close to the train station and convenient to walk to. It was a pretty walkable area with several restaurants close by.

Very disappointing to arrive in Italy in the pouring rain at 11pm to be told they didn't have a room for us. On reflection I believe they overbooked as the explanation of a broken door is just not credible. They booked us into a hotel which was not of the same standard at all.They didn't even suggest or pay for a cab in the pouring rain,directed us through a long dark tunnel to get to the other hotel. I was lucky I had a big man with me! Extremely disappointing introduction to Milan

Buffet was good and had great variety of options. Not many vegetarian options though apart from bread and croissants. Breakfast is served too early in my opinion (from 6am to 9am).

I loved every minute of my stay at Worldhotel Cristoforo Colombo. From the minute I walked in! I was sad to leave but I’ve already selected return dates ;) !! The hotel itself is beautiful and luxurious. Rooms are clean and spacious. Attention to detail is impeccable. Friendliest, warmest staff. Always smiling and willing to help. Ariel would go out of her way every day to give suggestions/guidance/directions etc as I am a solo woman traveler. Valentina was also amazing :) The rest of the staff are all amazing too! Perfect location. Breakfast is incredible. Wide selection. The restaurant’s food is excellent.

The location near the railway station is very handy. The staff were very welcoming and polite upon arrival - the lobby is attractive and inviting. Bed was comfy and room very clean.
