Attractive Balaton location, many nice parks, especially rose park near the port, all clean, prepared for the season, nice staff at restaurants and bars. For those who look for nightlife this is a perfect location. Beaches are nice, clean, access to water is by stairs and you have to walk quite far from the coast to swim, so very suitable for kids. Siofok is a very pleasant location, we enjoyed our stay here, but we were lucky to stay on the beginning of the season where it was not so crowded. I recommend also to make a boat trip to Tihany on the opposite side of the lake and visit local abbey and surroundings that offer nice views over the lake. So enjoy! :-)

Lovely thing, just the prizes. Raised of 70 - 100 % from last year. Mandatory couvert in restaurants. Tons of people, many of them groups from Germany, wasted from the morning, shouting and behaving obscene. Not sure if I would honor that hellhole by my presence.

Siofolk is a lovely town, I was there this time in the winte, so it is very quiet. However when I was there in summer, it is extremly vibrant, with lots of popup bars and restuarants. Also a lot of parties going on all the time.

Hard to find parking in the center even outside of tourist season. The mini zoo, just outside the town is a great destination, especially for kids. The upside-down house is not really worth the hype but fun to see. The quay is well maintained, but most of the restaurants, and other contents are closed during winter.

Great apartment complex with everything you need. Green area with many plants. Great views from the balcony. There is free parking in front of the entrance to the complex. Nearby there is a railway station, 5 minutes by train to Siofok.

A nice small town in the vicinity of Lake Balaton, not to busy in October, the town has a water tower which you can go to the top off by elevator for fine views of the surrounding areas. There are plenty of places to eat with good restaurants in abundance.Colin

A pleasent young lady at reception with good command of English (which is not obvious in that area). The room was not too big but functional. Although we had windows on the road side, it was not too noisy. The room had air conditioning making it comfy in the night. The beds were excellent and breakfast ample. The first hotel in Hungary where I liked coffee.

Siófok itself was still in a wintertime sleeping mode beginning of May so we could not get the real impression of it as majority of bars, restaurants and shops along the central beach alley were closed. However the apartment has everything you need, it is modern, new and really comfortable. The location could really not be more convenient.
