Split is centred around the ancient Roman Palace of the Emperor Diocletian, a magnificent building constructed at the beginning of the 4th century AD and boasting limestone and marble towers, columns and courtyards. Lloc molt turístic, amb un passeig bora el mar molt agradable i una ciutat ideal per caminar i perdre's pels seus carrers. Split està ple de restaurants (com tot Croàcia), no hi ha problemes per menjar tot i que el menjar de Croàcia no es dels millors. És com una capsa de música.
És com una capsa de música. De fora sembla una ciutat costanera postsoviètica, apropant-te és una ciutat i port mediterrani atractiu que ofereix moltes possibilitats, endinsant-te és captivadora, bònica, laberintíca i plena de detalls. Ens va agradar moltíssim. És un bon lloc des del qual visitar Croàcia.
