It has a beautiful city centre with many shops, from shopping clothes and shoes, to restaurants, cafes and bars. The are many young people in the city centre and many families. It has a lot of history and its all very fascinating to see how things were built so many years back (and they all still standing) It is all very well maintained and easy to walk around. A beautiful city near the sea with a gorgeous medieval castle overlooking the city and the picturesque harbor. In addition it is a great starting point for excursions to the mountain villages surrounding Nafpaktos and the dam on Mornos River which has created a big lake surrounded by tall mountains.

A very attractive seaside resort town with a fascinating history. Lots of restaurants, the opportunity of an energetic climb up to the castle. More I did not explore. The drive along the coastal road from Delphi via Galaxidi to Nafpaktos is stunning and makes for a very relaxing day.

The old Harbour was very attractive and lively with coffee bars and restaurants. We had excellent fresh fish at Captain Cook with a really nice owner. 337 / 5.000 the city has a beautiful historic center and a very well-preserved castle. the nightlife along the main harbor is lively, with many bars and restaurants. a good starting point for continuing the journey towards Delphi - Marathon - Athens by the sea, where you can jump into the beautiful sea at any moment. From Nefpaktos there is also a beautiful view of the bridge Rio - Antirio

A comfortable, stylishly decorated room with nice toiletries provided. The mezzanine level sleeping area was a big hit with our 11 and 14 year old (although just to note this was accessed via a steep ladder). Breakfast was great with options including boiled eggs, omelette, fruit, yoghurt, cooked meats, fresh bread and pastries. Parking is avaiable on nearby streets but check with staff for restrictions. The staff were very friendly.

We booked a standard room, but when we got to the hotel the receptionist offered us the possibility to chose a suite instead, no further payment required. The position of the hotel is perfect, in front o the beach and near the city center. You can park for free in front of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious, no buffet because of covid but they menaged that very well anyway. The whole hotel is very clean, well designed and cozy. We could not control the temperature in the room (control dials had actually been removed). All we wanted was some ventilation (run the fan only) but could not and had to open the window to the street which had quite some traffic until late. The lady serving breakfast in the morning was FANTASTIC. Very accommodating, hospitable. Breakfast itself was very good!

This is a new boutique hotel and they are trying their very best. Very clean and roomy. A bit noisy on the street side rooms due to bars and traffic but the double glazing helps to dampen it.
