Also on arrival room was not ready when we got to the room there was no toilet rolls we ended up buying are own before receiving them from hotel or towels which we got after 6 hours as no one on reception or answering the phone. I obtained a tea spoon an cup my self and had bought are own coffee an milk after 2 days of waiting. No sheets on bed mattress protector had stains on it an dirt in 2 corners the bed was made daily nothing had changed by the time we left bath room was freezing no heating in there. Breakfast - no spoon or fork or knife or no cup breakfast it self was very nice are first holiday for years and very disappointed would not stay there again. We hope are next holiday booked through you is much better. Clean and comfy caravan with all appliances needed in situ. Comfy beds and spacious main room compared to other caravans. Lovely location inbetween Looe and Polperro. Quiet, well maintained site with a large dog walking field also really well maintained. 👌

Looe is the sort of place you would go to get away from the everyday of city life I moved from Devon to Bristol a few years ago and wanted somewhere quiet and this was absolutely it, it felt like another world! Despite the rain we went on loads of walks perfect for the dog there is a lot of hidden gems and loads of history to be found. Personally it was perfect for two of us plus a Labrador, maybe less so for children unless you’re willing to travel further afield for day trips! Definitely recommend Kelly’s fish and chips.

Beautiful Looe!
Beautiful Looe! Weather was wild and a challenge with big gusts of wind and heavy rain. Restaurants closed relatively early especially when travelled from far and arriving later than 8pm. Locals very friendly. Bit disappointed with the quality of fish food in 2 restaurants.

It has lovely shops and many places to eat, a lovely place to visit.
But can be very busy so plan ahead for food and parking, like booking up if want to go to a particular restaurant! Please make sure you book even before arriving if going in a busy time of year, parking just go straight to main large car park as will waste time trying to get into small ones by harbour unless mid winter as very busy.

Looe is a great place with plenty of pubs, restaurants and essential shops. It felt a safe place to walk around in at night, and we encountered no large groups of stag parties etc such as would be found in Newquay. Parking is a bit of a pain and expensive, so we left the car parked up most of the time and used the local train and bus services which are quite frequent and convenient. There are plenty of walks both country and seashore. Large supermarkets are in Liskeard about 20 minutes drive away, but smaller stores such as the Co-op are in Looe. Recommended.

Looe is a beautiful port with plenty of public parking, accommodation and food stops. Sea Kitchen and The Old Sail Loft are two superb restaurants. Just along the coast is Polperro which is an unspoilt harbour and a must see!
Great location in West Looe with a great local pub and a Spar right across the street. Parking available close by (some free and some reasonably priced). Bus 5 minutes away. East Looe is an easy 10 minute walk. Lots to do in the area and the South West Coast Path is nearby. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Everything was exactly as advertised and Matt (the host) called ahead of time to review all details and make some local recommendations
Hotel staff really friendly and went out there way to assist. It’s great they allow dogs as took my pooch. The views are amazing as hotel is based on the cliff side and it’s a nice small walk down with some steps to walk along the harbour into looe. Lovely location and would definitely use again as they did cheaper single rooms for people who don’t want to spend too much. They also kindly gave me a double instead of a single as plenty spare
Lovely hotel on the quayside with views across the harbour. The staff were very friendly and incredibly attentive, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is insane - definitely 5 ⭐️. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Parking isn’t on site but close by and reasonably priced. Perfect position for exploring Looe. We would definitely return and totally recommend. Thank you to everyone at the Portbyhan for making our stay so enjoyable.
Breakfast served every morning provided a broad selection of high-quality items, prepared and delivered to perfection by the nicest hosts imaginable, Stephanie and Andrew. They made our stay delightful and we’re accommodating to all our needs during the stay. The room was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. The view from our windows were terrific. The TV and wifi were better than other locations in Cornwall.
Location was fantastic, view of the river/estuary was brilliant, and constantly changing. The great town of Looe was just across the bridge. We had total freedom to come and go as we wanted, car park was near, with unloading Bay nearby. Of course, Cornwall was within access either driving or via bus routes outside the door.
We had a lovely stay at Shellseekers. The hosts were friendly, and our room was very clean. We both found the bed very comfortable and slept really well - even though our room overlooked the road, it was very quiet at night. The B&B was in a good location, and it was easy to walk to restaurants in Looe.
Paula and Tom were great hosts. So friendly and welcoming, not only to their guest house but to Looe and Cornwall also. Hopefully we'll get back down sometime and definitely stay at Schooner Point. They were both very informative and knowledgeable about the area and gave us great tips and pointers.
The Caravan was compact but it had everything we needed. We were advised before hand of what was included and what we needed to bring, so everything worked out good. We were only in the caravan at night as we were driving around most of the day, and it was a great base to visit Cornwall.
Great location for Looe, lovely hotel. Room was quiet with lovely views. Good choice at breakfast. Owner was very welcoming! Free parking was a bonus and even the smallest of things like USB wall sockets in the room were a help, when forgetting my phone charger.
Perfect for a family trip to Cornwall. Four of us (2 adults and 2 teenagers) had plenty of room and surroundings were quiet and peaceful. Close to coastal path or a short drive to Looe or Polperro.
Great location, good views and straight onto the coastal path or down to Looe. No narrow lanes to get to property. Parking off road and great facilities, fridge/freezer, sky TV etc.
Rooms very comfortable view from room very good excellent location staff found to be very good and helpful. Said if we were to go back to looe which we loved would stay here again
