Denitsa is such a welcoming host that really wants her guests to feel at home. The house is located a pleasant 15 minute walk from Central Nantwich, easy to reach to/from dorfold hall, in a peaceful neighbouhood with the bedroom facing the fields. Breakfast is very diverse. My little one enjoyed playing with spartacus :-)

We stayed in one of the little houses next to the hotel. Great because we had space for my husband and I with our two kids (14 & 9) and it was perfect for our dogs. Private and space for us all.

Nantwich is beautiful with varied architectural buildings, lots of places to eat and drink, leisurely walks can be had by the river and there are plenty of shops.
There was a quality street market on the Saturday we were there but it wasn't too busy.

Quaint town with some well-preserved old buildings and loads of pubs. Stayed at the Cheshire Cat, drank at the Black Lion, the Crown looked fantastic (but didn't go in) and Ebeneezer's Beer Emporium is a surprisingly cosy and fantastically stocked craft beer venue. Had a cuppa in the Book Shop which is an amazing building. Visited the Museum which is decent considering the size of the town. The lauded St Mary's church is impressive but in our view doesn't live up to it's hype. And the River Loop (which isn't really a round walk as we understand it) was also a little disappointing although pleasant enough.

The size of the accommodation, it was massive & within very easy reach of all the shops & the cafe beneath the accommodation provided everything you could wish for & I enjoyed the most beautiful full English breakfast whereas my husband went for the pie & chips, all delicious. It was a great chance to meet up with an old friend who lives in Nantwich.

It’s a pretty town centred around the Town Square and St Mary’s Church, with very little in-town traffic and plenty of pedestrian areas. It is a compact little town, very walkable and pleasant to stroll streets of attractive small shops, interspersed with quiet residential corners, lots of gardens, trees and flowers, and everywhere friendly people. Interesting architecture from early Tudor, Georgian and later times, a good little museum, market hall and the Civic Hall where you can get all the information you require. We ate at the Pillory House Coffee Shop and at various fish and chip shops! all very good, especially Welsh Row Fryer.

Nantwich is historically fascinating. Beautiful Norman Church. Good indoor market three mornings a week. Other markets at weekends. All shops are independent and different. A rare thing. Very friendly. Large beautiful central square. Loved it.

Historic Cheshire town well worth visiting and staying overnight.
Have stayed in both the Crown and Cheshire cat. Worth walking circular riverside and canal trail. Good marina and café short walk from city centre Excellent central square with both outdoor and separate indoor market . Good bookshop and very good choice of restaurants. Easy to get around town. We ate in a good Chinese restaurant. Enjoyed staying overnight in the very historic Cheshire cat with free car parking and excellent location and breakfast and helpful staff but would not stay again at this hotel on a Saturday night as extremely noisy due to a night club which is outside of the control of the hotel but would definitely stay again midweek or on a Sunday
The apartment was spacious, modern and fresh. It had excellent kitchen facilities and a good sized bathroom with a bathtub with shower. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a lounge to relax in. There's also a large wardrobe for clothes. The property is in close proximity to the town centre and nearby bars and restaurants.
Staff are very friendly and the breakfast was hot and tasty, I was impressed by the quality of the food. Overall, this was an excellent stay and would not hesitate in recommending the Cheshire Cat.
A fantastic experience for my husband and I who recently stayed for 1 night.
Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff from the ladies on reception to the bar staff as well as the staff serving us at breakfast.
Our room was spacious and clean, exceptional views from our room with a very comfortable bed.
We took the opportunity to use the leisure facilities which we thoroughly enjoyed.
We decided to eat away from the hotel, a short taxi ride into Nantwich.
We cannot thank Rookery hall enough for a relaxing night away.
The location was perfect, close to anywhere you would wish to go in Nantwich. Secure parking was piece of mind, especially in the centre of a town. The apartment was larger than expected, with new carpets and decor. Full size kitchen and bathroom, spacious lounge with dining table. Free WiFi and smart tv a useful bonus. Landlord responded immediately to queries and was friendly and approachable. Morrisons and takeaways within 2-4 mins walk were a great convenience. Morrisons was also cheapest for petrol in the area.
Handy place to stay for a wedding in Nantwich. The room is within a family home with an external bathroom for our sole use - so everything as expected from the listing. The room lock was secure. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. It was good value. The hosts were friendly but discreet and contactable via the messaging function. The cats are also very friendly. We enjoyed walking on the canal.
I stay here often, the staff are excellent, the rooms are small but well furnished with good linen and toilet products, Only thing I would add is Air Con, but all the rooms have good fans and its in England so you probably only need air can 7 days a year. Great value for money, Good Breakfast, All round I have used this hotel 10 plus times and its consistently excellent !
This is a delightful, comfortable home set in it's own grounds in open countryside on the outskirts of Nantwich. The hosts are very friendly and the breakfast was delicious with locally sourced ingredients and home-made bread. I would definitely stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending Mile House Barn.
It was well equipped, very comfortable, lovely hot water for showers and bath, great smart TV, very rural and quiet, beautifully decorated and lovely bedding, very spacious, great location to visit Nantwich! just loved it!
The owners get back to you virtually straight away with any questions. The apartment was as advertised and true to the photos. It was also very clean. It's only a short walk into Nantwich.
Location was absolutely stunning. Quaint 'chocolate box' cottage with Beautiful garden surrounded by lots of green space and fields. So peaceful and quiet
