Matlock Bath is such a beautiful place , the views, the walks, and a lovely restaurant called The Seafood Cave and Grill. The food here was omg so fresh and tasty! Would definitely recommend this restaurant, not cheap but worth a visit. Some of the other local pubs ran out of food on a Saturday afternoon which baffled us to be honest? There are a lot of things to do in the area and lots of lovely countryside to walk in. Wirksworth and Ashbourne and Cromford are great places to visit. Dovedale, Chatsworth and Bakewell are not far away either and Carsington Water is only a 15 minute drive.

Close to all shops pubs etc easy to park up own parking place FREE , pubs nice food expensive, Chinese take away Cantonese Wok not nice. We walked to get cable car at £28 + EACH not worth that money ever HONEST nice ride up to top of hill 5 min ride to top and same coming down 5 mins for the money its wrong.AndyUnited Kingdom

The bathroom was huge ... it had a walk in shower and beautiful roll top bath, complete with candles! Everything was impeccably clean and very welcoming.. The breakfast was perfect, my partner had the full English twice and it was cooked beautifully. We also had a selection of fruits and natural yoghurt which again was fresh and lovely. The dining room over looking the valley and the views were amazing. Would highly recommend a stay with Sue and Dave .. both super welcoming and super lovely :)AbbyUnited Kingdom

It also had a pleasant view, was well equipped and being high surprisingly free of road noise. Breakfast choices were pre ordered, served hot, extremely tasty and good ingredients. The owners had warned us about road noise but honestly after around 10pm there was very little and we both slept well after a day of hiking and eating too much food. The studio is perfectly situated for walking into the centre of Matlock and getting parked on a side road was really easy, even on a BH.

The station is even closer if you want to go to Matlock Bath to experience the Heights of Abraham or Cromford for the Mill complex. Arrive by train or bus to Matlock Bath and the cable car is discounted. This is a quiet location with welcoming hosts who provide a marvellous breakfast to order.
