Great location near golf links and coastal walks. Lovely village. Nice pub with good menu. For us EV charging station nearby a bonus.
We would like to introduce you to The Tempus at Charlton Hall Estate, a decadent place where colours collide, and imaginations are captured.

Room very large and quiet considering it overlooked the road and outside dining' just a problem when our windows were open with smoke drifting up' Breakfast both Continental and English very good and nicely presented and served.
Dinner in the restaurant was exceptional all 5 nights we were there we never thought of going out at all every meal was such a very high standard and quality.
The Staff particularly Amanda Ruth Carole and Jane cared for us beautifully we felt more like family than just clients.
It was our first vist to Northumberland and if we return it would always be to the Victoria.
Thank you so very much for everything and for the lovely memories we have brought home with us

Excellent rural location in the centre of a range of visits and activities. A number of rural pubs (Tankersville Arms, Pack Horse Inn) within a few miles provided excellent food and ambience so not short of food and drink and things to do. Fitted our need perfectly.

Lots of lovely clean stretches of beach walks and interesting areas to visit.
Cragside House was a fantastic day, give yourself the whole day to look around the house and grounds.
Bamburgh Castle well worth a visit, need at least 4-5 hours and then can walk down from there to the beautiful beach.

We always go up to this area every year mostly Beadnell it's a fantastic area to explore the cabins are fine place to stop in but if you like peace and quiet don't book as the ball is a popular wedding venue which for us later on the night became quite noisy would have been better on a Sunday maybe . What you could not fault was the amazing breakfast at the joiners arms Ellsworth a vist

Excellent base for visiting Alnwick, Lindisfarne and walking parts of the England Coastal Path. Embleton Bay and a visit to Craster to buy locally sourced and smoked kippers, and call at the Jolly Fisherman are a must!
The Hotel is in an excellent Northumberland location; it is a most impressive building in lovely well kept grounds. Our room was large & very well appointed with a very spacious bathroom and such a good, large deep bath. Staff were most friendly & helpful. The breakfast was varied and of very good quality. We enjoyed our stay there, though perhaps a little more expensive than we would have liked.
Grand looking hotel and gardens, lovely professional staff, huge bed, nice food, lovely spa facilities.
James made us lovely cocktails and the restaurant manager was very good at his job also.
All in all a fabulous getaway!
The staff were friendly and very helpful. Beautiful location and dog friendly. Loved the beautifully decorated room and it was super clean. Great parking near room and a buggy took our luggage, so that was an added bonus.
Everything, basically. One of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in. Everything was luxurious and special mentions to Claudio and Stu, who would be gteat assets to any organisation!
We stayed here as we attended a wedding in a venue nearby.
Location is stunning, the hotel is set in lovely grounds. Really peaceful.
Breakfast was lovely and staff were very friendly.
Stayed for only 1 night so really didnt experience every aspect of the hotel and its facilities. Would have liked to have stayed longer to enable me to write additional comments.
The breakfast brought to room was perfect and catered for vegan request perfectly. The best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. It was also great to have lots of toiletries to use.
We stayed in the Shepherds hut which was beautiful with the bonus of having the only onsite parking spot. Feels quite secluded from the pub/hotel which was nice.
beautiful hotel with amazing scenery to match.
Doxford never disappoints. We try and visit doxford every year as it’s one of our favourite places to visit
Excellent little place to stay, so much better than a b&b or hotel. Gorgeous setting and well presented accommodation. Id highly recommend staying here.
