Spacious and quiet triple room with good facilities in a lovely relaxed hotel. Enjoyed a swim in the pool and a good breakfast with local produce. Staff were friendly and polite and happy to advise about local restaurants and places to visit.
Set in the Verdon Regional Park, this hotel features a swimming pool and a shaded terrace in the garden. Regional dishes are served in the hotel’s restaurant.

The geographical situation (we fell in love with the Moutiers-Sainte-Marie village and were impressed by the vertiginous Verdon valley), the tasty and varied breakfast (though it was not ready by the announced time), and the friendly staff. We would also have appreciated the terrace with the pool if the weather would have been warmer.
Located on the main square of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, Le Relais offers a terrace and a bar right by a waterfall.

Location and views! Lovely part of town and close to everything. The little kitchenette was modern and the shower was clean with good hot water. The room was huge with amazing views across the valley. The lady who met us was lovely and showed us around the room pointing out items or things to know. She also showed us how to get to the walk to the little church at the top of the mountain, and good times to arrive at dinner so we would get a table. The antiques were nice and there is a lot of history around the room.

The breakfast out in the beautiful garden was fabulous.

Amazing little town that we stumbled across when planning our trip and quickly became a highlight. Quiet streets for strolling around, amazing scenery, lots of restaurants and bars, plus local producers such as wine, cheese and chacuterie merchants, soaps and other Lavendar products from the area. Store and hospitality workers were all friendly and welcoming.
Parking is limited in the town, but options are a close walk.

The village is really beautiful and charming !
The village is really beautiful and charming ! The restaurant are good and the staffs really friendly. Be just careful if you go in high season because the village is really small for the amount of people visiting so be sure to go early to find parking space and to book a restaurant for dinner.
If you stay close from the village you will enjoy to spend some time also in the gorges du verdon.

Beautiful mountain town to visit, gourmet food options and nice local eateries. Make sure you book as restaurants are small. We had the wild honey deserts most night which was lovely. There’s a lot to cocktail places with live music. Nice old church up many steps you can visit. Pastel coloured properties which are pretty to look at. Easy to walk around and there’s a little train if you can’t do the slope you can catch.

It was very very busy.
It was very very busy. We drove there the first time but wished we hadn’t as there was absolute chaos and gridlock in the car park. We ended up leaving. The second time we tried we parked at the bottom and got the little train up. It was much better. Lovely scenic village but the artisan souvenirs are very very expensive. Lovely places to have a drink and a snack or a meal. My advice get the little train up don’t take your car!!! We toured the Verdon Gorge early Sunday morning it was breathtaking. Because we went early we could stop when we wanted for pictures and there wasn’t much traffic.

This is a great town and with many restaurants, shops and nearby attractions. The ‘old town’ is very authentic, whilst the nearby Verdon Gorge is one of nature’s masterpieces. Watch the town’s cascades, walk up to the chapel, shop, head to the lake for a swim or kayak paddle. I’d recommend at least 3 nights, but 4 or 5 nights in Moustiers would be better.

Idyllic village with lots to offer travellers - especially active ones keen to hike and explore the mountains. Excluding obvious highlights like the waterfalls, Kako's bar is a must visit at night, cafe gourmandies for coffee or rose with a view, and please avoid Le Four pizzeria - overly salty and the cheese is cheddar or something instead of mozzarella, really rancid sour stuff.
Do visit! Beautiful place for couples in particular
Also best to have a rental car as transport links aren't great. But that's true of most semi-remote locations

Le Jas de Colombier is lovely hideaway beautifully situated on the hill beneath Mounstiers de Sainte Marie. The cabins are decorated with a lot of love for detail, however some of the equipment could be newer. This however does not harm the place. Madame Janine is very helpful and charming herself. The village is only a couple of 100meters away and rightfully deserves the title of one of the most beautiful towns in France. The place is also a great Hub to explore the Verdon and the Lavander fields of Valensole.
Great location right in town. Comfortably furnished. Air conditioner on a hot day! We rented both rooms for a family of four. Since there are only two rooms, it felt like a private townhome. Note that there is no parking nearby, and the parking lot is about an 8 min walk away through town. It wasn't a problem for us but may be an issue if you are bringing a lot of luggage.
Moustiers Ste Marie is an absolutely beautiful town nestled against amazing rocky cliffs and a beautiful waterfall. Le Relais de Moustiers is in the perfect location to enjoy it all. It sits against the cliffs and it's restaurant is next to the waterfall. The rooms are clean and well-appointed and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this hotel!!
Our breakfast was outstanding! Our host, Clorinde, baked fresh bread and it was the most delicious bread we had in all of the villages and cities we visited in France. There were multiple delicious cheeses, jams and honeys, meats, croissants, fruits, juice and coffee. This wonderful feast was on the terrace in her yard which provided an amazing view! Just wonderful!
A quiet, comfortable hotel close to the village and a good centre for visiting the Gorge of Verdon and surrounding area. The availability of the jacuzzi and whirlpools was great after an afternoon of sightseeing. Nice views into the beautiful valley and very convenient private carpark. Breakfast at 14 Euros per person was quite good.
Fabulous welcome and super friendly host. Amazing location, beautiful surroundings. Staying in a very comfortable room in a lovely homely atmosphere, with lots of personal touches. Fabulous swimming pool. Great location close to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie but still feeling like we were in the countryside.
The room had a balcony with two chairs and a table. The view from all of the windows was beautiful. The town atmosphere was wonderful - welcoming and friendly. The staff at the hotel were friendly. The food at the restaurant was delicious. We were sad to leave. The area is absolutely beautiful.
The room was great decorated. It had balcony with nice view of the garden.
The pool area is very nice with amazing panoramic view. The pool is heated and very clean.
The team were very service.
The breakfast was very good.
We really liked the place. Highly recommend for 4 stars hotel.
hotel is located in beautiful village, close to restaurants and bars. We liked our rooms, they were spacious and comfortable. we enjoyed the pool. staff was helpful and nice. I am already thinking of gping back there next year and would definitely pick the same hotel.
This hotel was wonderful. Service-oriented, professional staff, excellent continental breakfast. On the outskirts of the old part of town, so a little shlep up the hill to get there but not too bad and near good restaurants. Strong AC!
A very nice breakfast was included in the base price. This wasn’t indicated on booking.com. Because you couldn’t walk to restaurants or stores this was very helpful. Also, the hostess and hostess were very pleasant and accommodating.
We loved the eclectic charm of this hotel! It was like staying in a museum. There was art and collections around every corner. And we loved the pool area! Truly a magical place!
Unbelievable value for money. It's such a nice spacious place in the centre of a stunning little town. Best place we have ever stayed in in France.
Very nice host as well!
Lovely hotel, well located. Moustiers is lovely, you could walk into the centre (although the road isn’t lit), we decided to drive. Friendly staff, nicely decorated rooms.
Gorgeous location, great value for money. Considering how hot it was when we stayed - the room was fairly cool. The town is amazing and the hotel is at the heart of it.
