It was one of the most (if not, the most) clean rooms in wich i stayed in France.
It exceeded my expectations in every way!
The owners were very friendly and helpful, the room was enough for two, the bathroom extremely clean, and the breakfast had a little bit for everyone’s taste!
Only 50 metres from a ski lift, Gîte-Hôtel Le P'tit Cham is located in Mont-Dore Ski Resort.

Staff was amazing, helpful and the location was just perfect. It's exactly where the trek fir puy de Sancy begins.we reached late and the staff helped us get ice for our beer. The location is super beautiful and we ended up watching stars at night from our rooms and woke up to the view of the mountains. One of the best hotel stays ever

We have stayed at the hotel before, but it is great to see how the offer has improved. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really excellent, varied and plentiful. Mont-Dore as a town may have seen better days but we love the historic spa town vibe, and there are encouraging signs of regeneration. There was a Jazz Festival on when we stayed with free concerts - a real bonus. Good choice of restaurants in town.

We had been there before but only for a single night.
We love the town, the hotel, the atmosphere.
We ate breakfast in the hotel which was incredible and ate out for other meals (not available in out hotel).
Bit of a nuisance to search for other places to eat - the month was September and quite a few places were closed.
The Cafe de Paris was a reliable stop gap.

We were looking for a nice place to stay during our trip from the south of France to The Netherlands. The hotel is clean and efficient, though overall somewhat dated. The staff was kind and helped us out. The nearby village provides with enough shops and restaurants as we had one afternoon and evening to cover. It looked like there were many outdoor activities going on (hiking, toboganning, etc.). Being there for one night, we did not participate so I cannot comment on those.

Mont Dore is a very picturesque town, with stone houses and friendly people. The smell of cheese and hot wine during winter is present non-stop in the centre of the town, where most of the stores and restaurants are. We had a great time skiing, but I would like to come back during warmer months to discover the forest trails, which are scattered around Mont Dore. Definitely recommend!

There were four of us in our party & we all loved everything about it. We'll go again & make it a longer visit.
There's plenty to do in good weather & a few indoor activities when it isn't.
There are many lovely restaurants, cafes & bars most of which are really reasonably priced. an interesting array of shops too.
Nearby Besse is also worth a day trip.
Everything was perfect, from the moment we entered the hotel, the smiling and nice receptionnist Majda and then Eric, the chef. It was our first time in Auvergne and it made us want to come back.
Everyone was very helpful and always smiling. I will definitely recommend this charming hotel.
Breakfast was super, had it on the terrace with the beautiful mountains view, Eric is making you pancakes and eggs with Love.
The hotel location is great, it is right next to the ski navette bus stop, which takes you directly to the ski resorts of Mont Dore. There is a storage room, where you can place your ski equipment. Breakfast was nice, the staff made sure that nothing was missing. The room was large enough for luggage and moving around, the bathroom had great lighting. The room was warm. The staff was friendly and very helpful!

There's a kettle in the room which always make a very comfortable hotel room so much better.
The dinner starts with a cold buffet of amazing range and quality. Fantastic. Followed by a main course (actually delicious) help yourself cheese and dessert. There's no a la carte but who'd want it.
Great little hotel full of character. The room was a slightly awkward configuration but we were only there for one night, so didn't bother us. Staff are friendly, the breakfast is extra but well worth it, with a lot of choices. The guest lounge is a nice addition. Good parking onsite.
This is a studio apartment that has been refurbished in a lovely, quirky style, reminiscent of a log cabin! I loved that, everywhere you looked, you'd see a little touch that made you smile! It's well located with easy access to Le Mont Dore's amenities.
A lovely, homely apartment in the heart of Mont Dore complete with free parking. It has a modern fully equipped kitchen which is undoubtedly the stand out feature of the apartment. Good shower and great views. Everything seemed to work well, mostly.
A quirky little place with simple rooms and a great atmosphere. No frills, but at this price you cannot expect any. Not pretentious in any way, but simple and relaxing. Ideal for a place to sleep to make the most of the great skiing in Mont Doré.
We went off season and spent one night at the hotel. Excellent location, easily walkable. Everyone in the town was incredibly friendly and nice. Restaurant was very quaint with excellent food and wine.
