This is a lovely, classically styled hotel on the Boulevard des Anglais, just across from the beach. (Nice's beach is pebbly, but well worth a visit). The reception areas and lobby are magnificent, and the staff were very helpful. I was travelling with family, and we booked two rooms. One room, which had a full sea view, was well equipped but very small. The other was a corner room with glimpses of the sea, which was more spacious and better value. I would recommend other visitors to try one of the corner rooms.
