Le Central Boutique Hotel is probably the best place to stay in Beaune. The place is lovely, common spaces are beautifully furnished and staff is very nice and helpful, they help me rent a bike and let me keep it in their garage for the time needed during my stay. Incredible place to visit! We arrived here after Paris and I could have spent so much more time here. We rode e-bikes through the smaller villages, wine tasted, strolled through town, visited the Hospice - something I almost did not do and I am SO glad I did! This town is incredibly charming, easy to get to and an absolute must! I am already dreaming about returning.

We have stayed in many locations in France and love the country. Beaune is the type of small city that ticks all the boxes. We always look for cities with populations of this size as they have areas of interest , good markets, modern facilities in ancient cities.
The best tip for people visiting France is the location, size of city - not more than 30,000 people and preferable 20,000 and not to travel in mid summer- it is too hot

For those who love HISTORY , good food and fabulous wines, Bourgogne is the place to visit , and Beaune is the largest city in the area.

That part of France had différent owners, at the time of CHARLES QUINT ( the fifth) was built "Les Hospices de Beaune".
Now it belongs to France, since a few centuries.
At that time, and it is partly true to-day, Churches, Monasteries ,were protecting people in case of war or illness ,and were the only school, as well .
With their magnificent coloured tiled roofs, their architecture, their furniture, their Museum, Les Hospices de Beaune are UNIQUE in the world !

Interesting walled town with cobbled streets and old buildings worth a look, particularly the iconic hospices de Beaune with its unusual roof tiles. A decent selection of bars and restaurants around and off the main square. Town easily accessible from the autoroute.
Lovely surprise: clean, stylish and modern! Range of electric car chargers - we didn't use, but v useful for those en route to or from South France; great location as a v short walk into the medieval town of Beaune; although we didn't use, the hotel has an onsite swimming pool and offers towels to use - it was in the midst of a heatwave! Very stylish hotel (especially for a Mercure); had free water to fill your own bottles and a lovely lounge area with seating and books plus a stylish bar! Rooms great too
The location was perfect. Very close to everything, but as quiet at night as it could be. We should have used the concierge more. The restaurant on the property is the best dinner we had in Beaune. It was stunning and with lovely ambience. The menu was inventive French. Delicious and beautiful. The staff were very professional and elite, yet so helpful and friendly. Excellent.
We were searching for a Tesla supercharger and found this amazing hotel. Loading the car on front of the door overnight was perfect.
The staff even made us a great pasta upon arrival.
Pillows and bed were super soft and comfortable.
The view was amazing. In summer, when the vineyard is green, it would be even better.
Good location for central Beaune (only a few minutes walk) and great parking free of charge. Nice bar area and brilliant breakfast (continental options but also scrambled/boiled eggs, sausages and the most delicious fresh madeleines we had in France!).
Very spacious studio apartment right in the centre of the beautiful town of Beaune.Very clean, comfortable bed & all the facilities we needed. Great too that it was pet friendly.Top spot for a stop over down to or back from the South of France.
I traveled for three weeks in France and by far this was my favorite stay out of 6 other hotels I stayed all over France. Lovely accommodations that mirrored the amazing town of Beaune and people.
I don’t often write hotel reviews but wanted to do one for Novotel. We needed a hotel to stay about halfway between our travel from the Netherlands to south of France and picked this one.

The hotel was in a good location -easy walk to the centre, wiith a great breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful, their suggestion to eat at Le Parisien was a good one!
It’s a very nice hotel surrounded by vineyards. The room was big and comfortable and the food was good. It’s a great location and convenient for the beautiful town of Beaune.
