The location was perfect for Easter weekend -- right in the middle of the action with all the special events happening in town. My single-bed room and its view were fantastic. Great wi-fi. Lots of plugs for electronic devices. Handy little fridge. Nice warm shower with good water pressure. Despite the busy weekend, surprisingly quiet and peaceful at night. Bautzen is beautiful and magical -- a hidden gem (at least to international travellers, I think). And a special thank you for the delicious Bautzen mustard. :)

Absolutely charming place - country hotel and farm, a lovely setting. Everything good, a nice, gentle feel to the place, not rampant commercialism. Lively people. Really good value for money

The room was clean and you had everything you needed. It was in a pleasant place and it was just exactly how it was advertised. I have no complaints. Did it have the wow factor - No, was it a very good place to stay - yes.

Bautzen is a very attractive place with plenty of shopping facilities. The town itself could improve its historic appeal by pointing out more of its historic sights.
The self guided walk ist just excellent.
The town has a great advantage being so relatively small that it can be visited in a short period of time.

Nice little medieval town with impressive Sorbian (slavic group) heritage. The town was a little bit quiet in January, but still very welcoming. It is pretty easy to get there by train from Dresden (or Berlin) . I would recommend a 2 days stay medieval town exploration, stroll at Spree around the mills and old houses, and for a taste of Sorbian culture and great local food.

A historical town with a very well preserved center with beautiful baroque buildings. Not too many tourists (maily germans) and a lot of good restaurants. A good startingpoint for bicycling, daytours.
The location is absolutely perfect. You are virtually on the nature doorstep. If, like us, you travel with kids and a dog this is more than perfect. 8 minutes from Bautzen and in a great outdoors. Doris and Thomas ar truly welcoming and out every attention to detail to make the stay relaxing.. we stayed o ly for one night but Ianaged a great walk in the morning and a run with deers, swans and wildcards as a company. Top of the top.
Very nice place to stay if you drive a week all around Europe and just need a little time for rest! I am very experienced traveler but l am in love with this place! So small! Amazing design! everything is so clean! Anything you need like screwdriver, scissors, dishwasher…it was May…Huge chestnut in the garden and bushes! Location is also very good just 5 minutes from highway on the main road! Absolutely recommended
Our suite was shining clean. We enjoyed the jacuzzi after a few hours of driving.
Dinner at the hotel restaurant was very delicious, served in a cozy atmosphere. The home brewed beer is recommended.
About neighborhood:
Hotel is located next to "Hauptspree" river with nice view. After climbing a few stairs through the residence area you reach the beautiful old town which is peaceful and refreshingly lively.
Nice big room in the hotel in city centre. Althought it´s in city centre it was calm during evening and night (we were there during weekend where there are more people in the streets). We were surprised by the nice small kitchen which is covered in the cupboard. We didn´t meet the staff, handover of the keys was done via mobile talk so in this case you need to speak german or english language.
This is a gorgeous hotel bang in the centre of the old town. The room was gorgeous and the details of how to make this different and pretty are great. Everywhere you look, there's something pretty. We only stayed one night but the service and the detailed explanations of where to park and where to go by the owners were excellent.
An outstanding location for exploring Bautzen, right in the heart of the old town - just beautiful , easy to walk around the old town and town walls, down to the river. Lots of great choices for breakfast and served in a lovely building. Close to great restaurants for dinner. The doona on the bed was wonderful!
This is a most beautiful hotel, full of character and charm ,as is the rear garden. The parking was off the road and and the room was a delight to be in. There was no problem with language and we were given a very good recommendation for eating out in the evening, close and lively.
Hotel is located in very beautiful place - on the river coast, with the amazing view of old town with castle and the old stone bridge. This hotel is run by the family, so I felt very welcomed and cared for.
Thank you for your kind treatment and care for me!
Very comfortable and spacious apartments. Particularly enjoyed small tips (maps/guides and infos) left in various places in the apartment helping discover Bautzen and the region. No problem in finding parking space on the adjacent street.
The hotel is looking like from a fairly tale. The apartment is big and comfortable. Breakfast is enough.
One thing: if you will book the apartment you must remember that the stairs to the apartment are very steep.
Fantastic place to stay with a lovely asian restaurant right next to the hotel serving amazing food. Hotel has a bar too which is open on the weekends, all in all, was an amazing stay! Would definitely recommend
The hotel is very clean, the woman who met us, I think she is called Peggy, was very, very friendly & helpful. I recommend it, if you can climb stairs.
