The location is fantastic. From the easy walk /hike / bike till the alpine routs everything is available. It is a perfect place to get out from the daily rush. The staff is very nice, the food is very good, also the breakfast. They have wonderful Italian cappuccino. The WIFI worked well.

The hotel is situated in Weggis, just below Mount Rigi and only 2 minutes from the ship departure point, featuring a lakeside. Despite overlooking the street, our room was peaceful as the island is quite small. The location was perfect for exploring the area, including a day trip to Mount Rigi and a boat trip to Lucerne. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the rooms are spacious. The staff provides excellent service, and the breakfast is good. Although the hotel's decor is a bit dated, it certainly offers good value for money for anyone planning a trip to the area or wishing to visit Lucerne.

We stayed at Niederbauen room, and has a stunning view of the mountain and lake. The room is very spacious and clean, there is a balcony, sofa, and a spa bath. The pillow was too soft for me, but they have a pillow & duvet menu (yes, you read it right - PILLOW AND DUVET Menu!!), so you can request which pillow you preferred.
Staff is professional and friendly. The breakfast is pretty good. Highly recommend this accommodation!

This is a great hotel to get away from the hubbub of...
This is a great hotel to get away from the hubbub of everyday life. Excellent views, choice of walks, close to the cog train to Mt Rigi as well as the ferry service. Ronnie and Bruno, both of whom run the in-house restaurant, are friendly, charming and entertaining. Both speak English well. Fully recommended.

The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, sunny balconies with parasols and comfy chairs. Breakfast had a good choice . The small town Gersau is very attractive, clean, with pretty houses. We added a 3rd night, would have happily stayed longer. The weather was beautiful too.There is a large dining balcony right over the water to enjoy the large boats crossing the lake. Many Boat and mountain excursions with reliable timetables are available nearby.

The room was fine and had a small balcony overlooking the lake which was lovely, The hotel had a lift which was very welcome as I have mobility problems and find climbing stairs quite difficult. Hotel parking was available and this was a plus. The hotel is located opposite the boat station and there is a very regular bus service from outside the hotel door. We stayed at the chalet, such a nice, romantic room. Just be aware that it is a wooden chalet, so you hear every step. The bathroom was in a lower floor, so, a longer walk at night. The kids stayed in a very big and modern 8-bed room and had a blast! We had a very nice dinner and breakfast at the hotel. We are already planning to make this a yearly get-together spot!!

We stayed here for one night while traveling by car, passed the Gotthard tunnel to cross border to Northern Italy. This hotel has a parking space which is very convenient.
