Boasting pool with a view and views of mountain, Alqueiturismo - Casas de Campo is a holiday park set in a historic building in Guarda, 12 km from Guarda Cathedral. "Alqueiturismo - Casas de Campo" is the typical countryside accommodation with lots to offer: pool, barbecue, farm animals, bikes, canoes. Also, since it's close to the hills, it's quite easy to go for a hike and be in communion with the nature. It's relatively close to "Passadiços do Mondego" which are an amazing experience. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.

Boasting mountain views, Lago Azul Villas features accommodation with balcony, around 24 km from Capela de Nossa Senhora da Conceicao. Jaime is a wonderful host and welcomed us upon arrival. He recommended a good restaurant 10 minutes away and was available if we had any concerns which we did not. Probably most fun during the summer season. View was spectacular. We had a lovely outdoor seating area and a very spacious room.

Featuring an infinity pool and views of pool, TheVagar Countryhouse is a recently renovated country house located in Belmonte, 42 km from Parque Natural Serra da Estrela. Marta is such a friendly and genuine soul; I want her to be my sister! If you are able to stay at TheVagar, then consider yourself one of the lucky ones. The location was absolutely beautiful. A perfect base to explore the mountains and walk the marked hiking trails in the area. The host, Pedro, was very communicative prior to check in and when we arrived he spent a lot of time explaining where we could go/ what we could do. His parents who were hosting throughout our stay were so lovely and couldn’t do any more for us. They made the experience extremely relaxing and memorable. Particularly loved the view for breakfast, the hammock in the evening and the friendly cat :) I would recommend this stay to anyone looking to relax, unwind, and do some hiking.
