We would like to introduce you to The Tempus at Charlton Hall Estate, a decadent place where colours collide, and imaginations are captured. We stayed at a brand new hotel called The Tempus on the Charlton Hall Estate. Charlton Hall is now only run as a wedding venue. The Tempus is a beautiful hotel with state of the art technology for controlling room lights, temperature in the room, etc. The decor is colourful and flamboyant with a fun vibe and tastefully done. The dining room is cheerful and the bar cozy. The food was excellent. There was also plenty of parking, a necessity as it is out in the country. I would highly recommend a stay at The Tempus.

Set in 125 acres of formal gardens, this 13th-century double-moated castle offers luxurious yet modern bedrooms with free Wi-Fi. This place is just magic - so beautiful, so quiet, impeccable service, ... Even the weather was fantastic :-)

Set in over 2 acres of beautiful gardens, The Chesterton Hotel is an 18th-century manor house offering a relaxing bar. Its bright, modern rooms feature lovely views over the grounds. Everything. The breakfast was exceptional

With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... The view of the hotel is absolutely stunning! Sadly we are only staying for one night. We have a nice view from our room, and even a surprising sunset view from the toilet! We had dinner before heading to the hotel, but I instantly regretted it because the menu looks attractive and you could sit outside and look at the great view. The breakfast was very nice as well.

Burnley house is gorgeous and the rooms are decorated beautifully. To be honest I thought I had booked a hotel and not a B&B due to the overnight cost (£150) but was pleasantly surprised. The lady was friendly, the room was nice and comfy and the breakfast was lovely.

The room had all the amenities you could wish for and the added bonus of being so light and airy and spacious. Nigel & Lesley went out of their way to help us and their little added touches in the room was so much more than you would usually get such as the continental breakfast including fresh milk, bread and yogurts.

We were in need of a quiet place for rest, away from the tourists, yet close enough to the village to be able to walk. Kerryanna Country House provided just that and more. The staff welcomed us, were very helpful with information about places to visit and how to get there, including tips about the local restaurants, beaches and places of interest. The breakfast was exceptional as was the cleanliness of the room and the entire B&B. Lovely views from the windows included horses, pheasants and plenty of birds. All in all a great experience and we heartily recommend it to those seeking peace and quiet, lovely views and a gentle, kind hospitality.
