The place is incredibly beautiful, surrounded by mountains, nature. The room was huge, there were all the things that you could need. The bathroom was beautiful and clean. The host was very friendly, kind and helpful. However, the view from the balcony was the best thing of all. I am so glad that I stayed here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

This place is amazing. It's like a small palace in Bali style. It has everything. A big garden, private parking place, a pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. The breakfast was also amazing. It like a attraction in madeira. Defentially recommend.

Good laundry facilities which came in handy as we were walking. Great walks Nearby too if you like hiking, Pico Grande would be highly recommended. The hotel is in a pretty nice area with not much around which was a plus for me. Breakfast was good. The price was great for what it offered. I would definitely recommend staying here for a night or two if you want a bit more of a quiet place. Just know that there's not much to do around.

The hotel is directly beside the hiking trail down to the village. I was able to reach the hotel by public bus. I was upgraded to a large family room with four beds. The dining room has good chestnut pudding.

There is everything you might need at a place like that. We could cook (there are restaurants nearby but there is not much variety), rest and prepare for hiking. We liked the place a lot. It's located perfectly.

Also no car needed: with hikes, town and natural swimming pools on walking distance. Also one can take the bus (that stops next to the house) to the start of further hiking trails or for daytrips to Funchal.
