Lovely fenced complex with various self catering cottages. Very nicely furnished and equipped. Lovely beds, wonderful outside area with birds, squirrels, mongooses and bushbabies visiting.... Watch out for the cheeky monkeys too!

It was beautiful, loved every moment, loved the fresh air and not to mention the spectacular views and outside shower. We give it a 10. Thank you for a beautiful love weekend ❤️

Summerplace Game Reserve is one of South Africa’s premier mountain biking destinations. Escape to the bush and experience life outdoors. I took my fiancé (then girlfriend) away for the weekend with the intention of proposing. I got in contact with the reserve and told them about my plans and requested them to assist with the set-up. They took us out on a private game drive whilst the staff was preparing a breakfast spot at the view point. Everyone assisted and overshot expectations. Apart from the lengths they went to to make the moment special, the whole weekend was amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and one feels at home. I would definitely recommend Summerplace for a weekend break away.

Located in Hoedspruit, this standalone holiday home features a garden with a private outdoor pool. Free private parking is available on site. Other facilities at The Bush House include a barbecue. Breakfast wasn't included, but shops and restaurants were nearby, and a full kitchen for cooking. Gorgeous home with spectacular outdoor shower option and deep two person tub option. Beautiful, private grounds and patio with lounge chairs, fire pit, swing, outdoor dining set. Small concrete watering hole near deck attracted lots of wildlife, for easy viewing and photos. Location within the enclosed reserve offered great combination of feeling very secure and safe, but still completely private and wild. Lovely plantings and attention to detail in the home design.

Set in Hoedspruit and only 10 km from Kinyonga Reptile Centre, 24 Degrees South Country Estate offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything! Tegan and her mum made us feel welcome and the property was perfect. We stayed in one of the bush chalets which was great for 3 people. There was all the kitchen facilities you need and we were able to spend the evening walking around the property freely. It is about 5 mins from a fuel station which has a little shop, so be mindful if you need supplies to bring everything from Hoedspruit. The accommodation is about 45 mins away from Orphen gate (Krueger) which is perfect if you are on your way into the park like us!

Summerset Place Country House is set against the foot of the Waterberg and adjacent to a private game reserve. Definitely a great location. Staff members were so kind and helpful all throughout. Had a great time overall. So quiet and peaceful. Would definitely go back forsure.

Marula Cottage is a 10-minute drive from Thabazimbi in the Limpopo Province. The thatched farmhouse offers views of the Waterberg Mountains and is situated 7 km from the Marakele National Park. The property had perfect view of the mountains which looks like two lions and a crocodile if you look carefully, amazing. Good location far away from noise other than nature which surrounds this property. The bush-babies where an added treat. Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Dinner was delicious, prepared by Monika and Dave, anyone staying here is missing out if they eat anywhere else. PS. Breakfast delicious also.
