Decent location (although 15 minutes from the centre; good for hikes), quite large place with a nice view.

The property is situated 19 km from Santana's traditional houses, 23 km from Marina do Funchal and 33 km from Girao Cape. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Sao Roque Beach is 500 metres away. The house is located in a small back alley with lots of friendly neighbours and a lively welcoming atmosphere. The house itself is just beautiful and there's absolutely nothing missing, there's so much love in every detail and you can really feel like home. We spent our Christmas there and were overwhelmed by all the small treats (fruits, fantastic homemade cookies and lots more) and decoration. The sleeping room has an electric heater in case it gets really cold, the kitchen is fully (like home) equipped and you can even do your laundry. There's public free parking very close by and you can easily walk everywhere in Machico (shopping, cafes, restaurants). We enjoyed sitting in the backyard which is very calm and full of life at the same time. Whenever we met Luisa, she was up for a chat and took so much care of us - she is a star! We would definitely choose again and can recommend to everyone who likes staying in a lively neighbourhood (quiet at night) in a traditional house.

Sonho do Oceano is situated in Ribeira Brava and has a private pool and sea views. Boasting a lift, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Each room has its own bathroom with toilet, so no worries that you have to share the toilet (as in description)

Set on the beachfront, this property has a garden and barbecue facilities. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. The house is well maintain, clean very authentic and cosy. Love the hammock in the yard. Unfortunately, we only stayed 1 night. I will definitely recommend and thank you Martin for your help.

The holiday home has family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. Great spot tucked in the hills with broad expansive views. The common pool/hot tub areas were a nice treat after traveling.

Santana's traditional houses is 22 km from Villas Madalena Chalets vista mar cWiFi, while Girao Cape is 29 km away. The nearest airport is Cristiano Ronaldo Madeira International Airport, a few steps from the accommodation. The closeness to the airport and the view from my room was to die for.
