We were super surprised at how big the room was, especially since we paid so little! The balcony was also a lovely addition. Big big big bonus points for the king size bed - loved it. The staff were extremely kind and they offer a tuk tuk service to bring you to and from Ella city center. Also, right on top of the hotel (literally 2’ uphill walk) is the 3arch bridge - the least famous sibling to the 9 arch one. We were lucky enough to see trains passing there and it was wonderful! We can only recommend! Thanks again.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Saffron Eco Cottage is situated in Ella, 6.4 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge and 46 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. While about a 25 minute walk (or short tuktuk ride) outside of town the location of the hotel is breathtaking. Sapu and his wife were fantastic hosts and were extremely helpful in every way. If we return to Ella we will almost certainly stay here again.

Ella 100 View Cottage, a property with a garden, is set in Ella, 6 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge, 50 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden, as well as 1.7 km from Ella Spice Garden. We absolutely loved our stay at 100 View Cottage. This was our 8th accommodation in Sri Lanka and definitely the best one. Beautiful clean rooms, stunning views, delicious breakfasts and host who went above and beyond. So impressed. Since we travel to Ella every year, we will definitely return. The cottage is around 10 minutes away from Ella town. Surrounded by fields, extremely quiet, safe and just amazing. Nothing was a problem for the host. He booked us tuktuks, or sometimes even drove us himself, every day he made sure we had everything we needed, was very attentive. I wish every accommodation were like this.

Featuring a garden and a terrace, Tea Cabins is located in Ella, a 18-minute walk from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. Absolutely fantastic place to stay. We got upgraded since we came in off season and were in the main A-frame cabin. It was gorgeous though we couldn't enjoy the private pool due to the rain. Food was absolutely phenomenal with huge portions. Check in/out was very easy. It is a bit of a walk to get there so not quite easy for those physically unable to climb stairs. Staff will help with luggage. Would absolutely stay here again. It was the best part of our trip to SL!

Great location, big balcony with views of tea plantations, the waterfall and mountains. The family are lovely and are very willing to help with anything. Breakfast, Tea and rice and curry available at a good price and a beautiful setting for a meal.

Situated within 4.6 km of Demodara Nine Arch Bridge and 48 km of Hakgala Botanical Garden in Ella, Sudumal Cottage offers accommodation with seating area and a kitchen. Very nice and quiet place in the middle of Ella. Great breakfast and the family who run this home stay made me feel right at home.
