Boasting a terrace with garden views, a garden and a bar, The Edgware Cabana can be found in Nuwara Eliya, close to Gregory Lake and 8.9 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. This villa is the best i had in Sri Lanka, whether it is the architectural design of the wooden cabin or the warm furnishings inside, it made me feel like home in the somewhat cool mountains. Also the food presentation is very well designed, especially it's for free.

Boasting pool views, Hilldale Retreat provides accommodation with an infinity pool, a garden and a shared lounge, around 12 km from Gregory Lake. Very clean hotel, beautiful views and swimming pool, food was well prepared, and service was excellent. Unfortunately didn't have as much time to spent here as we wanted, but the few hours we did were fantastic. Drank wine and played pool, had a suana session with a cold dip in the pool, and then retired for the evening. Would recommend to fellow travellers!

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Shirin1892 is a country house situated in a historic building in Nuwara Eliya, 1.7 km from Gregory Lake. Shirin1892 is a lovely homestay surrounded by idyllic mountains and tea plantations. It's located about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Nuwara Eliya and 10 minute walk to Gregory Lake. The host, Asela is so friendly, helpful and accomodating and told us lots of stories and history about Nuwara Eliya and his family home. Our room was very big and comfortable and we had thick blankets for the colder nights. The home was like stepping back in time and it was so interesting to see the contrast of architecture, decor etc to homes in the rest of Sri Lanka. Thanks again to Asela and his family for a wonderful stay 🙏🏼

Offering free bikes and garden view, Oliphant Boutique Villa by Amaya is located in Nuwara Eliya, 6.7 km from Gregory Lake and 14 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. The breakfast was excellent and the service outstanding.

Conveniently situated in Nuwara Eliya, La Grande Villa provides express check-in and check-out and free private parking. Fantastic stay in a central but quiet position, 10 min walk to Victoria Park or downtown. Very c9mfortabke stay.We lived the patio with the 2 swings, the enormous jacuzzi and plenty of hot water, the heater for the cool nights. The food was delicious both for breakfast and dinner. They gave us complimentary hot drinks at arrival and check out and many other complimentary things, will keep them a secret.:) The staff was great, polite, and smiling. The garden and flowers are pure beauty! Le Grande villa gives you a very boutique feel. They accept Visa, Mastercard incl.Revolut. It didn't work on through my phone but the physical R card worked, in case this might interest anyone. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Would prefer over the Grand, for the boutique feel.

Located within 5.1 km of Gregory Lake and 12 km of Hakgala Botanical Garden in Nuwara Eliya, Lily Bank Cottage features accommodation with seating area. Friendly and helpful hosts. The owner helped us arrange a tuktuk to take us to Horton Plains. We had a beautiful room with a fireplace and the location was great

Offering a garden and garden view, Kent Cottage is located in Nuwara Eliya, 2.6 km from Gregory Lake and 7.2 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. The room was adorable. The view from the room was breathtaking. The housekeeper (Mr. Nalaka) was so nice and he’s the best housekeeper you could ask for. I would definitely visit here again.

Offering barbecue facilities and views of the mountains, Thuring's Holiday Bungalow is set in Nuwara Eliya, 600 metres from Gregory Lake. Free private parking is available on site. The place is very clean and neat, we had fresh flowers in the room. The towels and bed linen are clean and feel nice and fresh. The location is up the hill, not close to the city centre, but very close to tea plantations and a nice 10 min road to Gregory lake. The owner is very kind and made sure to extend our stay when we requested, as well as arrange tuk-tuks whenever we needed one. Overall one of the best stays in Sri Lanka so far, highly reccommend.

Tea Hills Bungalow is located in Hatton. Free WiFi access is available in the public areas of this chalet. We only stayed one day at Tea Hills , we came from Kandy by train, the hotel offered to pick us up which we really appreciated , as we where a bit later we didn’t want to go into the city so we asked the property if we could have dinner their which they provided , the rooms are large and very comfortable, the staff is very helpful and friendly, we had coconut rotti for breakfast which was very enjoyable
