Welcome and hosting was superb. Lovely breakfast on a terrace with knock-out views. Beautiful and tranquil garden (but don't ask about the mosquitos..!). A bit out of Stresa so you def need a car but there is ample parking. Lovely to have a cat on the premises, too! Really would recommend.

You need your own transport to get here really - around a 7 min drive into Arona but we did find pretty easily free parking in the centre. 3 nights we stayed and 3 nights we ate very well in Arona at Anticogallo, Contatto and La Ruga del corso. Definitely take the boat to Stresa - finding a parking was a nightmare!
