Hartoft St is an absolute gem of a place. Our group consisted of two adults and two kids and it was the perfect base for our trip to York. The location is ideal - 30 seconds walk to the river and a 15 minute walk into the heart of York along the river or by the main roads. Parking is available outside and we had no problem finding a space. The property itself has everything you need and we found it to be a truly welcoming and comfortable setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here.

Me & my daughter had a wonderful time and our dog came along with us too , The lodge was spotless and had everything we needed and very spacious, it even had Ice in the freezer that was a lovely touch, The hot tub was so lovely and relaxing. The breakfast was delouses and everywhere was dog friendly,

Beautifully furnished and decorated. Fantastic location, wonderful and helpful hosts and lovely added thoughtful extras included in the price (Yorkshire Brack cake!) We honestly couldn’t be more satisfied with the stay, it was superb, and we can’t wait to return!
