The staff! And the owner really ‘walked in the shoes’ of prospective guests. So many hosts dump unwanted items in guest accommodation. Karen kept the needs of guests in mind. Everything we needed was available, from a coffee plunger to an electric blanket. Karen obviously care for her guests’ comfort.

We were met by the lovely host Karen, who made us feel very welcome. She upgraded our room, and was very helpful and informative. The facilities were cozy and nice, and the staff super friendly and helpful. We traveled for work and was relying on Wifi, as well as using the self-facilities to cook. This was no problem at all. In the evening we used the braai by the pool, and the outdoor area which was very nice and equipped. We used the laundry service on site, and had the opportunity to have breakfast made for us when we wanted. It was very easy and safe to park on the premises. Also, no problem at all to arrive early or late after a full day of hiking or climbing in Rocklands.
