The area is last of the holiday sites heading west from Kyrenia and the coastal road has numerous bars and restaurants of various appeal along the route. The local mini buses will pick up and drop off on request if you don’t have transport. There is a paved walkway from the resort following the sea shore approximately 3km west which ends abruptly and without a recognised destination. However it is easily walked and Ziggy’s bar near the end is worth calling in to.

We stayed at Club Alda which is budget accommodation with a lovely pool and terrace. Basic but very laid back and staff could not be more helpful and extremely polite. I left my wallet there and the Manager contacted me with every contact detail he had for me, even offering to meet me with my wallet if I was still in the area. Laura is fairly quiet and laid back. Beach clubs, fab swimming pool at our hotel. Good restaurants and shops are plentiful. It is much smaller and quieter then Kyrenia itself. Kyrenia/Girne is still only about a 15-20 minute drive away and we visited on our last day. *be sure to check out the puzzle box and lamp shops in Girne. Amazing craftsmanship and great gifts and souvenirs. We had our own car which was handy as we needed to drive short distances to use the beach and restaurants. We also hired a taxi for a short ride which was very reasonable. We ate at The Kabin beach club. This was very friendly and casual. Also Veni Veci which wasn’t bad but quite pricey. Best meal by far was at the Punjab Indian restaurant. Faultless. Impeccable service and the food was to die for. It is a quaint area.
It is a quaint area. The people are very friendly, close to other areas for sightseeing and exploring. A 30min trip to Kyrenia for the castle, restaurants or a day trip on a boat is highly recommended.

The beach was about 5-10 minutes far but it was clean. She gave us all information about where we can go, how we can travel there. She also gave us small trip to camelot beach as a replacement because fitness was closed, wellness was closed. She was the kindest person i have ever met from hotels.DarinaSlovakia

The gardens are well maintained with established banana trees. There is a cold fridge by the bar so if you come in late and need a snack or refreshment and there is only the reception guy there like it was when we went you can still access this and carry the night on in your room.
